"You like him."

"I do not."

"You like him." This has been going on for far too long, an hour to be precise.

"Honestly Virgil, what does it mean to you when I say I do not?" Logan asked, annoyed behind his Sherlock Holmes book he's already read ten or fifteen times.

"It would mean you didn't like him if you weren't blushing red behind that damn book," Virgil exclaimed, pulling down the book that was once hiding the logical sides face, reveling the faint red dusting the taller man's face.

"I-I am not blushing Virgil, you're over exaggerating." The logical side tried to explain away, already knowing he failed.

"That stutter doesn't support your claim, Logan. You're gay for Patton."

"It does not matter Virgil, he would never return those feelings anyway," he paused, "especially after how I have been treating him since we first came to be."

"Well... you're not denying your feelings for him, that's a start," Virgil started, moving some of Logan's hair back into place. "However, you need to talk to Patton about how he feels about you."

"He probably just thinks of me as another one of his children."

"You're jumping to conclusions."

"I am making educated guesses based off of evidence and logic."

"Maybe he thinks of you as his baby daddy."

"VIRGIL!" Logan exclaimed, looking at him in disgust. Virgil started laughing hard, nearly crying.

"I-I'm so-sorry," He started, calming down, "but in all seriousness though," he wiped at his eyes, holding his stomach, "I think he really, really likes you but you need to actually communicate with the dude to know." Virgil finished, standing up. "Now, I'm gonna head to my room and do stuff. Talk to you later." And with that, he was gone.

Logan sighed, closing his book and setting it on the side table. He lied down on the couch and closed his eyes, needing a break. After a few minutes, right before he could succumb to sleep, he felt something heavy flop on top of him. He felt his body tense as he quickly opened his eyes to see Patton's head resting on his chest.

He giggled. "Hey Lo!"

"U-uhh-"

"Hey, you ok? Your heart is beating a bit fast for it to be healthy."

"I-I'm fine Patton, n-nothing to fear." Logan said quickly, getting redder by the second.

"Well if you say so," Patton said, scooting up closer so his head rested in the crook of the others neck. After a few tense minutes, Logan felt Patton's breathing patterns even out, his eyes closed, sound asleep. Logan finally relaxed a little bit, releasing some of the tension from his muscles. He wasn't used to being physically touched much so this was quite a change. A good change, but a change.

"Why do you have to be so adorable?" Logan muttered quietly, before giving Patton a light kiss on his forehead. He soon fell asleep, with Patton on top of him.
