(Y/N) P.O.V
Tom started filming for the new Spider-Man film two weeks ago, and this week I was finally able to take time off so that I could bring August on set. He invited us on set so that August could see what the set was like and August could not be more excited. I pull into the parking lot of where Tom told me to park and got out of the car. As I get August out of the car, Tom comes up to us from behind with his costume and make up on. "Hey, you guys excited?" Tom asks excitedly whilst taking August out of his car seat. "I can't wait to see you in the suit! Are you going to be in the suit today?" August questions with enthusiasms. "Not today, bud, but tomorrow I'm going to be wearing the suit the whole day," Tom explains as he carries August over to the set and I walk after them. "This is my trailer. This is where I come when I need a break. Over there is makeup and wardrobe, and this is the set I'm going to be working on today," Tom stops showing us around to show us the director chair with our names on it. "I asked to get you chairs, so you guys can sit and watch. After you can bring them home," Tom tells us. "Thank you, Tom! You didn't have to do that," I thank him. "It is nothing, I wanted August to go home with a little souvenir. Listen, I have to get ready, but you guys are welcome to wait here," Tom says as he places August in his chair. After he went to go see the director, I sit on my chair and look over to my son.
"Hi, you guys must be (Y/N) and August. I'm Zendaya, Tom has told us a lot about you guys," a voice from behind us said. I turn around to see a tall girl around my age with curly hair walking over to us. "Yes, I hope all good things," I joke. "You're Michelle or MJ for your friends," August yells with excitement. "Yeah, but my secret identity is Zendaya," she smiles down at him. "Zendaya! Are you going to be with Tom?" Auggie asks. "Yep, we film a scene together in a few minutes," she explains. "That's cool, you know I think Tom is going to be my daddy because mommy likes him," Auggie spews out. (Y/N) feeling embarrassed, quickly trying to debunk the theory, "Auggie, you can't just say stuff to people you just met. Especially if you don't know if it is the truth. Plus, I don't know if you should get your hopes up, sweetie, we haven't even gone on a date yet." Zendaya smiles at the exchange between the son and mother, but before they could continue their discussion, Zendaya was called to set.
The two sat and watched the scene unfold; August watched Tom with amazement in his eyes and (Y/N) couldn't help but think that maybe it was time to let Tom into her life. She had decided last night that she would ask Tom to go on date with her. Although (Y/N) was a great mother to August and knew that he thought she was enough; she could not get the feeling out of her head that maybe August needed a male figure in her life. Who would teach him how to shave or how to calm his mother down after she stayed up all night worrying about him because he did not come home? Maybe a male figure in August's life can help shape his perspective on life, and help him see the world in a different light. Who better to be that male than a person that August praises like a god. Though (Y/N) was nervous to ask, it was time that she forgot about her past and step into her future.

At the end of the day, Tom walks (Y/N) and August to the car and listens to August rant on about how he couldn't wait to come back tomorrow. After August was put into his car seat and (Y/N) turned on the car, it was time for her to ask the question that could change her life forever. "So how did you like it today? From the fact that August is still ranting off about how much he liked it in a car with no body in it, tells me that he loved it," Tom questions as he leans against the car. "It was a very interesting experience. I really liked it, so thank you for letting August and me come for the week," (Y/N) thanks. "You don't think I made his year?" Tom jokes looking at the young boy in the car seat.
"Actually, I think what I'm about to ask you might make his year," (Y/N) suggests a bit about what she is going to ask. Tom thinking that he knew what she was about to say, looks up at the young woman and smiled. "Go on, don't let me stop you," he teases her. (Y/N) feeling nervous looks down to the ground, "I was wondering if you wanted to go out on a date with me." "(Y/N) (Y/L/N), it would be my honour to go on a date with you," Tom says while lifting her head up to look him in the eyes. They look into each other eyes and smile shyly at each other. "Pick me up on Friday at 7:30. I'm thinking you are going to plan this date because I'm the one that did the asking," she proposes. Tom stands up straight and smiles, "I will gladly plan a great date for us, but I clearly remember asking you on dates." "Hey, don't push it," she warns as she wags her finger in front of his face. "Okay, I won't. Listen, I have to go, but I can't wait for Friday. Bye, beautiful," Tom bids good to her by kissing her on the cheek then waves goodbye to August from outside the window.
Once Tom was out of distant from the mother and son, (Y/N) got in her car and looks back at August. "What did you ask Tom, mommy?" August asks with his Spider-Man action figure in his hand. "I asked him to go on a date with me, and he said yes," she informs her son. August squeals, "Does that mean he will be my daddy?" "I don't know yet, baby, we haven't even gone on our first date. I can tell you that I really like Tom though," (Y/N) assures her son.
