The Brother I Never Expected: A One Direction Fanfic

Chapter 8

Liam leads me into the kitchen, then lets go of my hand. He must of had a tight grip, because when he let go,  color rushed back into my hand. I wondered why he was so upset. Was it something that I did?

" Liam, whats going on?" I say, it coming out more harsh than I wanted it too.

" Its Louis," he says. I become confused.

" What did Louis do?"

" I told him-" he starts, but pauses. We stand there in silence, and I wait for him to finish.

" Told him what?"

" I told him not to go out with you, and he didnt listen."

Liam told Louis not to go out with me?!? Why would he do that?!? He had no right!

" Why would you do that?!" I say angry.

" Hes a player, Leah. You dont even know how many girlfriends he has had in the past year!"

" Why would I care about that?! He isnt with them now! So it doesnt matter."

" He will break your heart, then go and find someone better than you."

Blood starts to rush to my face, and I feel lightheaded. That always happens when Im mad.

" You had no right to tell him that!"

" Im your brother! Of course I do!"

" No you dont!" He sighs and puts his head in his hands.

" I just dont want you to get hurt."

" Well, you dont have to worry about me." I say through my teeth and storm back into the living room.

Ugh! Now I know what people mean when they say sibling rivalry.

" Did I miss anything good?" I say, sitting back down next to Louis.

" No! But Shane Dawson is in this part!" Maggie squeals and I chuckle. She really does fangirl over everything.

I try and concentrate on the movie and making my temper go down. Liam comes back into the room and shoots me a look, but I ignore him, snuggling up next to Louis to tick him off. Louis looks down at me with a worried expression, but I smile at him and turn back to the movie.

" AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Louis screams. " DONT GO INTO THE CLOSET!!!!!!!"

I burst out laughing. " Calm down!"

" DONT GO IN! DONT GO IN! DONT GO IN!" i hear Harry mumble. I swear these boys are a bunch of babies.

" SHHHH! HERE IT COMES!" Maggie says, hitting Harry on the leg. I see those two are getting close.

Suddenly two people in all black with knives jump in front of the tv and I scream and start crying.

" HAHAHA! GOTCHA!" Zayn says, unzippering the costume and pulling off the mask.

" That wasnt nice!" I say wimpering. Louis rubs my back and I wipe off my eyes.

" You were SOOOO SCARED!" Niall says, unzippering the other costume.

" PSSHHH! No i wasnt!" I say, folding my arms.

" But I was!" Maggie says, snuggling against Harry, covering her eyes.

" You were in the room the whole time! You didnt see them get up and leave?"

" What?!? Shane was on TV!" I start laughing and continue to watch the movie. Liam keeps on giving me dirty looks, and I wanna punch him so bad! What he told Louis was unexceptable, he cant control me or him.
