Chapter 35 | next stop

You sat on the rescue boat, waiting for Adrian to show up. But the boat was already about to dock back in London.

You were so worried, he has so be ok, he just has to, you can't live without him...

You hung your head as the boat docked and one by one people were let off. Elizabeth and her family were all safe and ready to head home after their rather traumatic experience. The Phantomhives were ok, they met with their servants wen they got back.

And you? You were wrapped in a blanket, just waiting for Adrian to show up somewhere. You wondered if he was ok or if he was even nearby...

The Phantomhives seemed kind of distant, when they got on the rescue ship, they looked beaten up and they really didn't know how to talk to you. They had just assumed that you didn't know anything about what Adrian was doing and that may have been why he was in such a rush to get you off the ship.

You didn't explain anything though, but you wanted too. You knew you couldn't, so you sucked it up and kept your mouth shut. You were exhausted, so damn tried form that whole experience. But you still waited for Adrian to show up.

It was about midday now, you were sitting on a bench, still wrapped up in your blanket, still cold. You were beginning to fear the worst when...

"(Y/n)!"

You whipped your head toward the noise and saw the man you loved rushing over to you. You jumped up and ran over to him, throwing your arm around him.

"DON'T EVER LEAVE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN, I WAS SO SCARED!" You exclaimed, tears beginning to fall down your cheeks.

"I'm sorry, but I couldn't stand to put you in danger... I wanted you safe and off that ship" he replied.

You wiped away your tears and smiled up at him.

"I'm so glad you're ok"

He smiled back down at you.

"I'm so relieved that you're safe, I was fine, just a little fight and I was off" he said.

"How did you get back?"

"That's a reaper trick my dear"

He put and arm around you and began walking back in the direction of the shop.

"Well I'm glad that's over, it was exhausting" you said.

"It was, I'll give you that. But this is all just beginning. Pack a bag because we're off to Germany next" he replied.

"Germany?"

"I have to pay someone a visit... and I need something from a so called 'witch" 

"Witch?"

"There's a girl that has been trained since birth and he's managed to create one of the deadliest weapons known to man, but she's also discovered a lot of things along the way, I need some of those things off her"

You reached the shop and went inside.

"Is she a real witch?" You asked.

"Well... not exactly, but in a way I guess you could say she is. Anyway, you should take a nap, you look dead"

"I am dead"

"Oh haha, you know what I mean"

He kisses your forehead and smiled.

"Get some sleep, I'll pack up some stuff and we'll take a train out tonight" he said.

You nodded and kissed his cheek.

You made you way upstairs and changed into more comfortable clothes, slipping into bed afterwards. There was one thought on your mind before you fell asleep though,
