When She First Found Love

Jessie was working a normal shift at a local restaurant called, "Donald's". Jessie loved working at the restaurant because of her amazing coworkers. Everyone got along great, and for the first time in her life she had friends.

(Jessie's Past)

Jessie has been going to cyberschool since 2nd grade, so she never talked or became closes with other kids. For most of her childhood she liked just being close with her family. So she became an introvert, and became very shy and distant with other people. By the time she was 15, she needed money for her hobbies and just herself.

She so applied to the only place in town that hired 15 years at the time. She got the job, and over time she changed and became more open and energetic around her coworkers. She was finally breaking out of her shell. Though outside of work and home, she was still very shy and distant to people.

Though she was getting better with time, and her new and first real friends. She truly happy for once in her life. There was on thing Jessie never truly felt was romantic love, she had her fictional boyfriends and girlfriend, like anime charaters.

Though one day that changed...

Their was this cute boy work walked into the restaurant, with one of my coworkers, Bryan.

"Hey, Bryan why are you here, today's your day off?" Jessie asks cheerfully.

"Yeah, I came because my little brother wanted to apply here, and I'm here to help him with it." Bryan says pointing to the younger guy behind him. Jessie could see that he was nevorus and a little shy. He was really cute, and Jessie felt weird, something she never really felt like this with anyone.

"Oh okay, let me grab an application." She pushed the feeling down and ran to grab the application from the back.

"What the hell is wrong with me!? Why am I blushing!? We never even talked!" Jessie grabbed her chest and put a hand on her face. "What is this?" She thought to herself.

She grabbed the paper and brought it back to them. She had calmed down a little and gave them the paper. She lead to a table near the front where she stayed for most her shift. She took their order and went to the back. She keep looking back at Bryan's little brother.

She keep peeking over the counter, while she was clean or getting stuff for other customers. After about a half an hour the store really slows up. She was going around cleaning whatever she could. Her eyes keep going back to the guy who was focusing on the application. She worked up enough courage to go over.

"Um, would you like a refill?" She asks with a little stutter.

"Sure," he looks up, and gives a shy smile. Jessie blushes a little and grabs his drink glass. She gets him the refill and brings it back. She sets it down.

"Thank you," he says as quickly looks up for a second. Jessie nods and walks away.

She gets back to clean and chatting with coworkers. Looking back at the boy once and a while.

The shift goes on as normal and he hands Jessie the application.

"Have a wonderful day," Jessie says as he leaves with Bryan. They both wave and leave the store. She takes a quick peek at the application.

"So his name is Daniel," she smiles to herself. "Wait, what am I!? Some kind of stalker! How could I look at his application like that! God, I'm so damn creepy!" She thinks as she quickly goes over to James, one of the managers. She hands it to him and he takes it to the office.

"Thanks Jessie," he says and walks into the office.

"No problem," Jessie says as she goes back to the front.

Jessie finishes her shift like always and clocks 15 minutes late.

"Bye everyone," she says as she leaves.

"Night Jessie," Maddie, another manager and close friend says. Jessie waves bye, and heads out to her mom waiting in the car.

"Hi mom," Jessie says as she enters the  car.

"Hi, so how was work?" She asks as she starts the car.

"Normal for the most part, we got really busy for the last hour of my shift." She says as the drive off.

"That explains why you are 15 minutes late." She keeps her eyes on the road.

"Yeah," Jessie answers.

They get home, and Jessie goes up to her room. She gets changed and lays on the bed. She thinks about Daniel and covers her face with her hand. She gets up and goes under her covers.

"Why is my heart beating so loudly?"She whispers to herself

She falls asleep soon after.
