Beau POV:

I drove slowly down the street looking for a place to park. I rounded the corner and spotted a space in between a Honda Accord and a Toyota pick up truck, and did a parallel park into the space.

I grabbed my phone, wallet, and keys, and stepped out of my car looking for a frozen yogurt shop that Cassadie told me to meet her at. I looked around the outdoor mall and saw a place called 'Peachwave'. I started heading that way, stuffing my hands in my pocket trying to look casual and laid back instead of the excitement that was coursing through my body.

I stepped into the air conditioned shop and glanced around not seeing her. I took a seat and pulled my phone out so I didn't look like some loner sitting in a frozen yogurt shop..alone..with no frozen yogurt.

I aimlessly scrolled through Twitter, avoiding favoriting or posting anything just so that none of the fans would know I was active and freeze my phone with tweets and mentions.

About 5 minutes later a teenage girl walked through the door, wearing black aviator sunglasses and a dark blue romper and sandals. I smiled to myself and stood up to greet her.

"I'm so sorry I'm late, it just took me forever to find a parking space."

"No you're not late, I'm just early, and I know it took me some time to find a parking space too, and did I mention you look really pretty?" I rushed through my words. "I realize I just talked really fast and I don't know if you got any of that but-"

"Thankyou, Beau" Cassadie laughed out.

I sighed and gave her a small smile. "So would you like some frozen yogurt, or as I believe they call it, 'Fro-yo'?"

She gave me that breathtaking smile and nodded, grabbing my hand and dragging me over to the bowls and Fro-yo machines.

Jai POV:
I held my baby sister's tiny hand. She was hooked up to a heart monitor and had a breathing mask covering a majority of her face because she was so tiny and it was made for adults.

I ran my fingers through her hair feeling her soft brown curls run through my fingers as I brushed it away from her face. I sighed deeply, trying to keep my emotions under control and stay strong for the child in front of me.

I glanced out the back windows of the ambulance immediately noticing Luke driving Daniel's car, seeing as he's unstable. Actually just a tab more unstable than I am at the moment. And yes I called Daniel, Daniel because I do not see the humor or attention that that kid deserves by being called by his nickname at the moment.

I felt my phone vibrate before I heard my ringtone, and picked it up with the other hand that wasn't holding Avi's.

"How's she doing man?" Luke's voiced echoed down the line.

"The nurses say she's stable and-". I stopped mid sentence because I felt a tiny bit of pressure on my left hand. I looked down and immediately started crying. "She's awake now, bro. She just squeezed my hand and she's opening her eyes!" I cried out in relief.

"Man that amazing! I'm so glad-"

And in that moment my world came crashing down. Everything I thought I had, I have lost. They say you don't know what you have until you lose it but in truth you don't appreciate what you have until you have nothing to appreciate.

I've watched enough movies to know what that was. I know what I heard and my thoughts were confirmed the second I looked back out the window of the ambulance, but let me tell you I wish to God I didn't. If only someone could've screamed at me, "Don't look! It was just your head imagining the worst." But damn it wasn't just my head. It wasn't just the stress of almost losing my baby sister. It was the sad reality of the world that just caused me to stop breathing and immediately lose it.

It was the sight of an 8-wheeler tractor trailer plummeting through the side of my brother's car. Glass shattering, horns blaring, tires screeching, and the unforgivable site of a body being thrown through the windshield. Who's it was I do not know because the ambulance continued speeding down the road for the child in front of me leaving my brother, my twin, my best friend, the victim of a car crash and his current state unknown to me.

The last thing I heard was people around me screaming into radios and the blaring of the sirens to leave me swimming in my personal nightmare before it all went black.
