Travis was on his way to Awsten's house to finally start recording the first episode of the second season of the Awsten and Travis' Slumber Party podcast. He was super excited, as he really enjoyed recording season one. The fans were definitely excited for new weekly episodes. Well, maybe 'excited' wasn't the right word; everyone was kind of.. anxious... in a good way.
Finally, Travis had pulled up in front of Awsten's house. He walked up to the front door and knocked three times. A few seconds later, the singer opened the door to him. "Hey, man," he greeted.
"Hey," Travis replied.
"You ready to record this fucking trainwreck we call a podcast?" he asked, grinning big. Travis didn't know why, but something seemed a bit off about Awsten. His smile looked forced, like he was keeping something from him. He could just find out if anything was wrong without Awsten knowing, but he didn't like to use his power much, as he was slightly embarrassed by it. He thought that'd be an invasion of privacy too; if Awsten wanted him to know what's up, he'd tell him. So he ignored it.
"Definitely." He smiled back, entering the Knight household. The two boys entered Awsten's bedroom, where the recording equipment was set up on the bed. They sat down and opened their phones to the fic that Travis had texted to Awsten earlier. The fic was called 'Feels Like Magic' by TylersNeckPaint on Wattpad.
"Alright, ready?" the lavender-headed boy curiously inquired. Travis nodded, releasing a small 'uh-huh'. "Let's do this!" He turned on the microphone and started recording. "Sup, fuckers," he loudly said into the mic, greeting the future audience.
"Hey, guys!" Travis joined in.
Awsten giggled. "Imagine if that was how I started the podcast every time, just like, 'HEY SHITHEADS!'" He was full on laughing now, cracking himself up with his own joke.
Travis chimed in with a, "Greetings, fucknuts!" Both men were laughing their asses off.
"Ahh," Awsten sighed. "This is why parents hate me. Anyways, welcome back to Awsten and Travis' Slumber party! Long time, no see, huh?"
"Yeah, definitely," the brunette agreed, chuckling slightly. "Let's get right into it. The story we're reading today is called 'Feels Like Magic' by TylersNeckPaint on Wattpad, whose profile picture seems to be Tyler Joseph from Twenty One Pilots, deepthroating a microphone."
"Yes, I was gonna comment on how I was amused by that. It reminds me of myself a bit," the other boy responded.
"Does it?"
"Yeah, I enjoy deepthroating microphones, don't you know?"
"Whatever, you fucking weirdo, let's read. You start."
"Okay." Awsten cleared his throat, beginning to read. "'Awsten has a secret. He's been hiding it since-' Travis, what are you doing?"
"Huh?" He was confused as to what his friend was referring to. Then he looked down, noticing what it was. Without realizing, he'd involuntarily rested his hand on top of his friend's. He quickly retracted it, blushing a deep red. "Oh my God, I'm sorry, I didn't realize!" He chuckled nervously, trying to shake off the awkward situation.
"It's fine, I'll edit that part out. Let's just keep reading, I'll start my sentence over." He cleared his throat again. "'He's been hiding it since his 23rd birth-' Okay, what the fuck, man?" Travis looked down and realized he'd done the same thing again.
"Shit, sorry!" he rapidly apologized, pulling his hand back again and blushing. "I don't know what's with me today..."
"Well, stop touching my hand before I telekenesis your skinny white ass into space," Awsten threatened, then covering his mouth with his hand, realizing what he'd just said.
"I said I'm sorry, I promise it won't happen again, okay? Just keep reading, please, forget it ever happened." He completely ignored the threat, thinking his friend was just joking.
"Y-Yeah, whatever..." The two took turns reading the fic, when about halfway through, Awsten's mouth had gotten a bit dry. He decided to take a sip of his water bottle that was next to the microphone. When he reached over to grab it, he accidentally knocked the mic over. "Ah, fuck."
"I'll get it," Travis offered. He reached for the mic, but before he grabbed it, it stood up, seemingly on its own. "What the fuck?" Travis backed up slightly, startled.
"Oh shit! I shouldn't have done that, sorry, I didn't mean to freak you out!" Awsten had just accidentally revealed his power. He could've not owned up to it and said it was just a ghost or something, which, in hindsight, he wished he had done, but he didn't. He completely accepted the fact that his secret was out.
"Wait, that was you that did that?" Travis asked.
"Yeah... I wanted to keep this a secret, but... I was born with telekenetic abilities," Awsten solemnly confessed.
"Wow.. Well, while we're getting things off our chests... I have a power too," the brunette boy admitted. "I was born with telepathic abilities." He used his power to silently send a, 'See, look. I'm using my power to comunicate with you telepathically,' into Awsten's brain.
"Whoa, that's so cool!" Awsten was very excited to know that his gift didn't separate him and Travis at all. If anything, it brought them closer.
"Thanks, your power is pretty cool too." Travis scratched the back of his neck.
"Thanks, man." The vocalist smiled at his significantly less famous friend. He smiled back.
"Okay, listen, I have another thing to confess, since it might explain my actions earlier. I'm in love with you, Awsten."
"Y-You are?" Awsten stuttered, shocked by what he'd just been told.
"Yes," he telepathically communticated. "And I'll prove it too." Travis grabbed Awsten by the face and pulled him into a passionate kiss. The kiss lasted about 10 seconds, but Awsten didn't kiss back. He just sat there and took it. When Travis pulled away, he looked to his long-time crush, eyes glistening. "You don't feel the same way. I see. I should've read your thoughts to check that before I kissed you. I'll just go, we can record tomorrow. Sorry..." He got up off the bed and approached the door, opening it. Before he could leave, the door shut. He turned to look at Awsten. "Why?"
"I do. I do feel the same way. I'm in love with you too, Travis."
"Then why didn't you kiss back, you stupid idiot?!"
"I was too anxious," he answered. "But... I feel better now." He telekenetically pulled Travis back to the bed and kissed him. The kiss was filled with passion, lust; all sorts of emotions. He pushed Travis down, pinning him to the bed. He pulled his pants down, then starting on his own, but Travis stopped him.
"What about the podcast?" he asked.
"We'll just cut it out." Awsten smirked, before continuing to kiss and undress his partner.
Geoff, who'd had the power to see through walls and doors and such, and had been over at Awsten's house that day, walked past the room and saw what was going down. "About time," he said to himself. "About time."
