I'm about to live the best experience of my life. I am from Portugal and I am about to go study to the usa.

Ok so, my name is Inês, I'm 16 years old and I'm from Portugal. I am about to go study to the usa.. I can't believe this is really happening. I have always wanted to do a exchange program and meet the usa, I have never loved the education in Portugal and I don't know why I have always loved america so I hope I can learn a lot there.
Today is the day that I find out the state I am going to live and study. Right now I am at my Exchange program agency waiting to know what state I am going to.... I am both nervous and excited, I don,t have any state that is my favourite so any state will make me happy.
" Are you ready to find out the state?" Ana, the girl at the agency that has been helping me.
" I'm so ready" I said as I smiled to Ana and to my mom.
" You're going to Houston, Texas" Ana said as she lookedfor something on her computer.
" OMG!!!" I was speechless, I was so happy that tears started to roll down my face. My mom hugged me as I sobbed.
" Whats wrong honey?" my mom asked me.
" I am so happy, I can't believe I am really going to do this" I said in between sobs.
" You are going to be staying with the smith's and you will study in Westside High School" Ana said as she showed me some pictures of the school and the house I was going to live in for a year.

When Ana showed me my school I freaked out, I loved it and I knew I was going to have amazing moments there.
"Now I am going to show you your host family and your house" Ana kept looking through her computer as I kept fan girling inside.
" So this is your family andddd this is your house" I looked at them and at the house and I was loving it already, my mom( Karen) had blue eyes and blonde hair, she was beautiful and she looked like she was at her early 40's. My host dad( John) had dirty blonde hair and brown eyes and he looked so nice, he had probably 45 years old. I also had a grandmother( Mary )and a grandfather ( Bruce), they looked so sweet and lovely. And I also had four siblings, the older one is a boy (Dylan), he's 17 and has brown hair and brown eyes, he looked like one of the popular boys. The other sibling is a girl ( Addison), she has blonde hair and blue eyes, she's 10 and she looks so sweet. I have other sister ( Riley) she's 4 and she has blonde hair and blue eyes and she's the cutest toddler I have ever seen, the younger sibling is a girl ( Aubrey),she's 10 months she is also blonde and has blue eyes too and she is adorable.
My house is so beautiful, I can not wait to go to the US.

After going to the agency I got home and went to my room to get everything ready to go. I was going to the US in a week and I knew that this week was going to be the longest week of my life.
