I'm about to live the best experience of my life. I am from Portugal and I am about to go study to the usa.

I woke up with the sound of my alarm, I groaned and rolled over to turn it off. I layed back down in bed, grabbed my phone and went through my social media. It was 6:40 and I was getting ready to get up when my bedroom door opened and Riley came in " good morning princess", " good morning" I bent down to give her a hug but ended up picking her up and went into my closet " what do you think I should wear today?" I asked her going through my clothes " I don't know, all your clothes are so pretty" she said hugging my neck and I smiled at her comment putting her down, I swear that I love this family.
I end up choosing a simple pair of jeans and a red shirt, then I sat down on the bedroom floor and started straightning my hair because I can not leave the house with my hair being perfectly straight.
It was now 7:10 and I went downstairs to make myself some breakfast, as I was making my eggs my mom came in the kitchen with my baby sister, she offered to give me a ride but I told her that I wouldn't need it because I would be walking to school. " Good morning sis" I look at the door and see my brother " Good morning Dylan", " I was wondering if you needed a ride, or are you going with mom?" he asked me grabbing some water from the frigde and sitting down in front of me on the table, " I am going to walk to school, I don't want to give mom more work " I really was worried about giving my hostmom more work because she already as my two sisters to take to school and I know that she passes by my school anyways but at least she doesn't need to stop and take more time. " I can give you a ride if you want, I really don't mind", " you don't have to, I can walk " " yes but since we are going to the same school and I could also introduce you to some new friends if you'd like" I was going to say know but me being a fat ass I wasn't really in the mood to walk so I ended up accepting his ride and it was actually cool going to school with my brother.
When we got there we went our seperate ways and it was only 8:15 so I sat down on a bench and waited for Harper and Zoey. I was looking through my phone when I felt someone sitting down next to me, I looked and it was a beautiful girl with very light blonde hair but she didn't look american at all, she probably noticed me looking because she glanced my way and I gave her a smile, I decided to start talking to her because she looked lonely and of course I don't mind having another friend.
" Uhm hi, I'm Inês and I am new here, I am doing na Exchange program, I'm from Portugal" " oh hi I'm Anelise and I am also doing na Exchange program and I'm from germany" we continued talking, Anelise was very sweet and I'm actually very fond of her. " Hi" I look up and see Harper and Zoey smiling down at me " Hi girls, meet Anelise she's german and is also doing na Exchange program" I said introducing her ," hi Anelise" both of them said " Inês me and Zoey were talking and we thought that maybe we could go to the mal today, Anelise you can come to if you'd like" Harper said and I really loved the idea because I haven't been to the mal yet. " Sounds good to me, what about you anelise?" I looked over to Anelise and she said yes, I could tell that Anelise was a little shy but I really want her to feel comfortable around me and the girls, I was really lucky to have them as friends in such a small amount of time. " So I guess we will have a girls day" Zoey said and the four of us started walking to our classes and for my surprise me and Anelise had english together which was awesome.
The rest of the day went by pretty quickly as usual, at lunch time the four of us sat together to eat at the table that we have made ours by now. I was now walking with Zoey to the front to meet Harper, Anelise could not come since she had to catch the bus to get home. We have agreeded to meet at the mall around 4pm and Harper was going to give me and Anelise a ride. " Ok girls I need to head home, lets go?"Harper said getting up from the sidewalk we were sitting in, " yes lets go" Zoey said following her actions and after a tem minute walk I was finally home. It as 3:27pm and Harper was going to get me at 3:50pm so I still had a few minutes and I decided to go downstairs to watch some TV.
It was now 3:48pm and I was getting ready to leave when I herd a horn outsider, I got out of the house and went to Harper's car. The ride to the mall was filled with me and the girls singing, more like screaming the songs lyrics. After a 10 minute drive we get to the mall and Zoey was already waiting for us.

The rest of the day at the mall is spent trying clothes on and checking out boys. At around 6:45pm I arrived home and went to my room to take a quick shower. I was now getting myself into my pj's when Addison and Riley enter my room without even knocking, I swear this girls spend more time on my room than on theirs but I love it. " hey pumkins", " hey Inês, where did you go on the afternoon? Mom was worried and we were missing you" Addison said while sitting on my bed. I can not believe I forgot to tell my mom I was going out, I just hope she is not mad at me. " I went to the mall and I completely forgot to tell mom" Addison was going to answer me but we were interrupted by my grandmom calling us to the table. We made our way downstairs to the kitchen.
We were all eating dinner when my mom brought up the subject I did not want to talk at dinner time. " Inês, where did you go in the afternoon?" my mom said looking up from her plate, " I went to the mall with some friends, I'm sorry I completely forgot to tell you", " look Inês I don't want to sound like I am mad at you because I am not, I was just worried becauseyou haven't been here for a long amount of time and I was worried you might have gotten lost and didn't had charge on your phone to cal me or your father" I looked down at my lap feeling bad for worrying her, that was the last thing I wanted, I have been so worried not to take much of her time and now I do this, " I know, I'm so so sorry, it will not happen again, when I got home you weren't here and I forgot to call you or send you a text", " its fine hun but don't do that again " my mom said giving me smile that honestly made me feel so much better.
After finishing dinner I go up to my bedroom and lay down in bed whatching netflix for an hour . I hear a knock on the door and I adjust myself on the bed " come in ", the door opens and Dylan comes in " hey bro I need to talk to you" he says as he sits down on my bed " ok what is it?", " first I wanted to tell you that you made me wait for you after school, I thought you wanted a ride home so I waited for you and you never came jerk" I laughed at the way he talked " I'm sorrDylan I didn't know you would wait for me but that is very sweet of you but next time you text me so you know if I am going with you or not", " I'm sorry!! You text me if you want a ride, I am ot waiting for you anymore" I laugh and agree with him, " what more do you want to tell me?", " I saw you at lunch time, you can sit with me and my friends if you want"," I don't know if that's a good idea, they may not want me there", " oh believe me they do want you there" ," why?!", " boys things" he says laughing and laying back in my bed, " oh tell me c'mon", " you're butt" I look at him in surprise, " my butt? what about my butt?" , " they like it" he says smirking to himself, " humm". He stays with me for more 30 minutes talking and when he leaves its around 11m so I decide to go to bed.
