I walk in the door and put my things down from a long day at school. You are sitting on the couch and look at me with despair in your eyes. I can see it behind all that you hide.
"Hi honey, how was your day?" She says to me.
"I missed you. I always do" I say back as I walk over to her and sit on the couch next to her. She's watching American horror story. I run my fingers through her soft hair as I pull her closer with my arm around her waist. I embrace her and she puts her head on my shoulder. I look into her brown eyes. They are so deep and hurt. You look away and I pull you in tighter. I embrace you until you fall asleep. I was holding you in the same way until you woke up. 4 hours later. You start stirring and mumbling.
