"Luke! Zöe! Let's go!" mom shouts up the stairs at me. I groan and drag myself down the stairs where mom and dad are waiting for me and my sister. Every year, my parents and their friends have a pool party and all the kids come too.
"Don't look so upset Luke, Emmy will be there," dad says with a smirk. I feel my face redden.
"Dad! We don't have a thing!" I complain.
"Yeah right. No one smiles at their phone that much unless they're texting their s/o," Zöe says coming down the stairs.
"You would know. How's Treyton?" I shoot back.
"Alright you two, enough," mom laughs, "Percy, don't encourage them." We all pile into the car and dad speeds over to uncle Jason and aunt Piper's house. When the car stops, Zöe and I rush out of the car and run around the back to the pool. Apparently we're the last ones to arrive because Silena and Beck are already splashing each other in the pool and Bianca, Kaden, and Treyton are hurling water balloons at eachother. Zöe runs off to join Treyton in pelting the other two with water balloons, leaving me alone. I look around and spot Emmy sitting on the edge of the pool with her feet dangling in the water. Emmy is a perfect combination of her parents Frank and Hazel. Her skin is on the darker side like her mother's and she inherited her gold eyes as well. However her long, silky hair is the same black color as her dad's. I silently sneak up behind her and grab her arm, pulling her into the water with me. She yelps as we hit the water and I pull her under. It's times like these I'm glad that me and Zöe inherited our dad's power over water. I suspect Zöe got some of mom's brains too, but sometimes I'm not so sure. I create an air bubble at the bottom of the deep pool and Emmy smiles at me.
"Hi," she says brightly.
"Hey," I grin back. I lean forward and claiming  her soft lips with mine. So maybe I lied a little bit when I told my dad that we didn't have a thing. Emmy's fingers tug on my short, blonde hair. People always said I looked exactly like my mom and Zöe was a copy of dad. Sometimes it was hard to tell we were twins. I bite at Emmy's lip and she moans, allowing me enterance to her mouth. When we finally pull apart we're both gasping for breath.
"Think they've figured it out yet?" she asks out of breath.
"My parents suspect," I reply. We swim up to the top an I dry us off.
"Luke bro! Chicken fight!" Beck yells over to me. Emmy and I jump back into the pool and swim over Emmy climbs up onto my shoulders. She's a light wieght. Water flies as the girls try and knock eachother over. Emmy is just about to push Silena over when aunt Hazel calls us all in for dinner. Zöe and I dry everyone off and we all run inside. Uncle Leo make the best tofu wraps and Aunt Calypso's stew is amazing.
"So Luke," Hazel starts as soon as everyone has sat down, "how's my future son in law?" I almost choke.
"Mom!" Emmy yelps.
"What? Did you two think you were being discreet?" mom asks us. A groan is heard from the other end of the table and uncle Jason slaps a twenty dollar bill into uncle Frank's hand. My jaw drops.
"You bet on us?" Emmy and I say at the same time. Frank shrugs, "Easiest twenty dollars I'll ever make." Emmy glares at her dad. A few snickers erupt from the rest of the kids. I glare at Zöe.
"Shut up Zöe. We all know you and Treyton have had a thing since freshman year," I snap.
"Silena and Beck have been together longer," Treyton scoffs.
"Um, are we just going to ignore Bianca and Kaden?" Silena asks. The parents just look at us all before various dollar bills change hands. The kids' mouths drop.
"You're not mad?" Silena asks.
"Sweetheart please. My mother is Aphrodite, remember? Give me some credit," Piper scoffs.
"Yeah, and you all still have your v-cards so what's the big deal?" Travis adds. That earns him a whack from his wife. I look at my mom who just smirks at me. I guess all of our secrets are out.
