Medusa was a beautiful and amazing person, but people only thought she was a monster because of her curse. She was known to be a dangerous woman and a killer who turned people to stone with one glimpse. They feared her for ages, so she ran for her whole life. Settling down when her name was only referred to as a tale parents told their children. Medusa, in her cave, as she had for many, many years. She spent her whole life hidden.
The last few decades had been particularly boring. Her cave is full of old statues of skilled warriors once full of life. Now, they sit and gather dust, as stone trophies. The men were all frozen in various expressions of horror since the last thing they saw was her.
She sat in her cave she called home in complete boredom. Eternal inescapable boredom.
