the village rejected her. she couldn't work, they told her that she was useless and to leave forever. they shunned her, cast her out.
she had nothing in her life. she was labeled as a mistake by the village, with no job or family she left the village thinking she would be better off dead. she walked for days on end with no food or water. thinking she'll either get so tired she'll pass out and die peacefully. or someone will find her and help her.
she stumbled into medusa's cave she collapsed into a hard statue and fell to the ground. she finally gave up on walking and cried, burrowing her head into her knees sobbing.
''hey girl''
her head slowly lifted up and she faced towards where the distant sound was coming from
'' hello?''
''why are you here?''
"i don't know where 'here' is"
she says defeatedly.
she awaited for a response but nothing else came.
she turned back to her knees and began crying again
"are you lost?"
'' i suppose"
'' why?''
"i'm blind"
