Barry and Kara walked out of the building and went to Jitters to grab some coffees. The walk was silent, but not an awkward one, a conforting type of silent.

Barry pushed the door open to Kara get in, who smiled a little at the gesture and went grab a table. When Barry asked what she would wanted, Kara took a quick look at the menu and widened her eyes in surprise.

"Do you have a coffee with your name??" She whispered and Barry giggled.

"Yes, I have." He said with a proud face and Kara playfully slapped him in the arm.

"Ouch." He said faking pain.

"Such a baby." She teased

"So, what do you want?" He asked

"In that case, I will have a flash." She said with a smirk and Barry blushed a little.

"Okay, I'll go grab and meet you here." He said in his way to the balcon.

When Barry returned with the coffee, Kara drank her cup in almost a second.

"Wow, someone was starving for a coffee." He said.

"Yeah..." Kara said embarassed.

Barry was going to say her something when someone interrupted him.

"Barry?" The woman said.

"Patty?" Barry said with a surprised look on his face.

"Oh my god, how are you doing?" She said and Barry stood up to hug her.

"I am fine, and you? How is school?" Barry asked

"I'm fine too, and school was great, but now it ended, so I am back to Central City." She said with a smile.

"Oh. Cool. Are you going back to CCPD?" Barry asked.

"I still don't know, actually, I got here today, and I am still unpacking, so..." Patty said.

While the were talking, Kara was sitting there not knowing who the girl was or what to do.

"Oh, Patty this is my friend Kara Danvers. Kara this is my ex-girlfriend Patty Spivot." Barry said and Kara stood up to shake the hand of the girl, who was with a fake smile now.

Patty shook Kara's hand and turned too Barry.

"So, I was thinking, maybe we could go out sometime. I am free every night this week." Patty said and Kara felt a pit in her stomach.

"Um... Yeah, sure, I'll have to see my schedule in the precinct." Barry said.

"Yeah, give me a call, still the same number." Patty said grabbing her coffee. "Bye." She said walking out.

Kara face fell, but she quickily tried to put a smile in her face.

"So... Ex-girlfriend huh, friendly break up I see." She said.

"Yeah, she was a friend before all of that, and then we break up when she moved way, so there was no big fights or whatever." Barry said.

Kara face fell a little more when she realized that the fact that the girl moved away was the break up reason, so now that she was back they would probably get together again. That was okay for her, despite the feeling in her stomach and her heart, they were just friends. Right?

"Um, Barry I have to go to work." She said looking to her watch. "But thanks for everything." She said getting up.

"Yeah, right, sure." Barry said trying to hid the sadness in his voice.

They got back to stars and Kara left to National again.
