Just friends?

The date

Kara had called Alex, and she bursted in the loft 10 minutes later.

"What is the emergency." She said.

"I don't know what to wear." Kara said from her bedroom.

"You've got to be kidding me." Alex said knocking in the bedroom door.

"No, it's a real problem. I have a date." Kara said coming out with a gold outfit.

"Too gold." Alex said, and Kara nodded, going to change. "And wait a second. A date, how?"

"Yeah, after you left, I realized that you was right, I was in love with Barry. Then I flew to Central City and told him. And today he asked me out." Kara said.

"Ha, I told you." Alex screamed.

"Now, I need your help to wearing myself." Kara said with a pink dress.

"Nope, too pinky." She said.

One hour passed and Kara finally decided what to wear. "That is fine, I guess." She said.

"That is great." Alex said.

20 minutes later they heard a knock in the door.

"He is here." Kara said.

"Go finish your hair, I will get the door." Alex said standing up.

Kara walked in to the room and Alex opened the door.

"Barry, hi." Alex greeted him.

"Hey Alex." He waved.

"My sister is just finishing." She said.

"Cool." He said.

"Barry, you know that Kara is super strong and almost indestructble. But what you may not know is that het fellings can be hurt, like everyone else. So, don't hurt her feelings, because, no matter how fast you can run, I will hurt your body." She said and Barry gulped. Then Kara got out of the room.

Time froze when he saw her, she was beautifull and his mouth fell open.

"What, is it too much?" She asked.

"Um. No... You look amazing." He said.

"Thank you." She said blushing. "You are not so bad of yourself either." She continued.

Now was the Barry time to blush. "Thanks."

"So, are you ready to go?" He finally asked.

"Yes." She said and they walked out of the door.

In the way to the restaurant, Kara looked to Barry and said.

"I heard what Alex talked to you, and I want to say that I don't want you to be scared or force anything that you don't want to." She said looking down.

Barry lift her chin up and said. "Nobody but you forced me to fall in love with you. Belive me, it's hard not to." He put his hand down and interlocked with hers.

They had a nice dinner, and - thankfully - they had no interruptions. Kara was a little sad that it was ending, but she had the best time of her life.

When they finally reached Kara's building, she let go of his hand and turned to him.

"Well, this is me. Thank you very much, it was a great evening." She said.

"No. Thank you for this date, it was great." He said. They stood there looking each other in the eyes, when they both leaned in and their lips touched. This time was slow and passionate, if the sensation that Kara felt in their first kisd was amazing, this was speechles, she never felt this way before, so strong and so small at the same. She felt that she was flying.

Actually, she was.

They both pulled away and saw that they were flying.

"Wow. That is a first." Barry said.

"Yeah, sorry about that." Kara said apologizing.

"Don't worry, just don't drop me okay." Barry teased.

Kara smiled and hugged him closer, resting her head in his chest and whispered. "Never."
