Three~

Yoongi really didn't know what Jungkook ate, he just knew plants where his diet. He had no idea what to give him. He couldn't go far from his home to get anything 'special' but he had to do something. Something that was edible enough for the mermaid. Yoongi hadn't had a meal in awhile but he wasn't starving, he saved his meals for later consumption often. So if he got hungry and there was no extra fish he could go and eat the left overs from his last big meal. 

If may be scary to a lot of people but he only ate meat. What ever that was in his reach was what he ate. That's why he went after Jungkook. The mermaid had something that was different in Yoongi's eyes, or he just was to hurt to be enjoyed as a meal. Yoongi preferred healthy things to eat, he wasn't about to eat a beaten down Jungkook any time soon. 

As Yoongi was swimming through the water he started to hear others talking, or in his opinion yelling. Close to as loud as you could get underwater was what they where doing. Yoongi immediately stopped and went to hide in some kelp. His skin changed to a color that was as close as to the kelp as he could get. He was a creature that was good at stealth and he knew it. So he used it. 

"I know Jungkook has to be somewhere!" A deep voice startled Yoongi a bit. 

"Don't you think you where being rude to him earlier? He probably just wants alone time..." A much higher pitch voice complained. 

"You are the one who's so worried about him? You want to just go home? We are getting pretty far... There's stuff down here yah' know."

One of them made a 'tsk' noise. "Like what?" 

"People who capture mermaids and keep them captive!"

"Your making me more worried for him... what if he is captured! He could be dead for all we know!!" 

They came into view, one was pretty lengthy. He had red hair and a red tail. The other had pitch black and was pretty short standing next to the taller one. They where Jungkook's family, but Yoongi didn't know that. Suddenly, the black haired one spotted the kelp that Yoongi was in and his eyes widened. 

"Whoa! Tae look! Its so pretty!!!" The smaller zoomed over to Yoongi and started examining the kelp. 

"Aish! Your too fast!" The other swam next to him, putting his arm around the mermaid. The taller looked over and saw Yoongi's eyes, they where hard to sneak past. Yoongi had to admit they where bright and he didn't like it in situations like these. The mermaid stretched out his had to get the kelp to move so he could see Yoongi's eyes more but Yoongi was ahead of him. 

"I wouldn't." Yoongi said, his raspy voice shook the younger mermaids. The taller's hand went back to its place in one smooth motion. Both the mermaids eyes widened and watched Yoongi as his skin turned back into its normal color. He figured hurting the mermaids would cause him more trouble. He didn't want to have to feed three mermaids at a time. 

"What... What the hell?" The deep voice broke the silence. All three of them wished he wouldn't. 

"Sorry." Yoongi said In response. "I'll be heading out now." Yoongi was about to rush past them so he didn't have to socialize but of course they didn't let him pass. 

"Wait! Have you seen this mermaid! He has curly brown hair and a brown tail! I'm sure you've seen him if you've been hidden in the kelp all day!" The blacked haired boy announced.

Yoongi didn't trust them just yet. So he didn't want to tell them that he had that exact mermaid in his care. "I'm sorry but I haven't seen a mermaid pass by me, not in awhile actually." Yoongi said turning to look the younger in the eye. 

"Hmm.. I understand... Can we know your name? Just incase you find him or anything. Were worried about him." Yoongi nodded.

"Min Yoongi."

"I'm Kim Taehyung and this is my brother Park Jimin. Please let us know if you see anything. Have a nice day." The taller explained. 

"Could I ask you a weird question before you head off?" Yoongi asked hoping they would accept. They both nodded at the same time.

"What do you... eat?" They both had a weird look on their faces.

"That's not that weird but we usually eat seaweed and stuff like that?" Jimin looked up at Taehyung for approval and he nodded.

"Thanks. I'll tell you if I find anything." At that Yoongi went to go find Jungkook a meal.

"It seemed like he was lying but... not really? I mean why would you ask that, doesn't he know what mermaids eat.... since he is one." Taehyung asked and Jimin just shrugged.

"You shouldn't question people who hid in kelp all day Tae! Its just rude."

Jungkook woke up to shuffling in the water. He opened his eyes to see Yoongi setting down seaweed on a cloth. Jungkook wondered how he knew his favorite snack. He had been dreaming about him and his brothers when Jungkook was a bit younger and he had just started leaving to go to the library. He remembered those memories as good times, but for now they only made him feel more home sick. Jungkook frowned and Yoongi noticed the sadness oozing out of Jungkook. Yoongi swam over to Jungkook and hoisted himself onto the rock. 

"What's wrong love?" Jungkook looked up. 

"I'm just home sick. I'm fine, nothing to worry about." Jungkook tried to smile at Yoongi but it looked more like a pitiful grin. Yoongi's eyebrows scrunched up in worry but that soon disappeared to be replaced with a smile.

"I brought you food, are you okay to eat?" Yoongi asked. Jungkook nodded and Yoongi leaned over to snatch up the cloth with seaweed on it. 

"Here, I hope you like it. It's all I could think of to bring you." Jungkook thought Yoongi talked a bit weird but now Jungkook thought Yoongi talked very different. Like he didn't know how people talked now. Like he hadn't talked to anyone in so long. Jungkook kind of pitied him. 

Jungkook took the seaweed happily and set it down on his lap. He started eating. Yoongi stared at him with loving eyes the whole time.

When Jungkook was done he threw the cloth at Yoongi.

"Don't you have to change the kelp on my tail or something? Stop staring at me!" Jungkook said playfully and Yoongi just chuckled.

"I cant help but look at beautiful people." Jungkook stopped laughing and a dark pink covered his cheeks. He looked down at his rusted tail. Yoongi just smirked and brought his hand down to the water, kelp slide into his hand and he pulled it up. Breaking off the kelp from the water, the kelp became lifeless. He then leaned over to grab a jar, he opened it and spread the contents onto the kelp. Jungkook wanted to have powers like that. 

"Stay still love, this shouldn't hurt as bad as last time but it will.... hurt." Yoongi said and Jungkook tensed up as Yoongi began to take the kelp off. He grabbed the cloth previously with seaweed on it and dipped it in the water. Then he cleaned off Jungkook's wound. Jungkook tried to hold back his whine but it still slipped out. 

"Shhhhh baby it will be over soon," Yoongi rested his other hand on Jungkook's. Jungkook calmed down a bit. Yoongi wrapped up the new kelp onto Jungkook's tail. Yoongi rubbed his thumb on the back of the mermaids hand to comfort him as the pain settled down. 

"Good?"

"Good."
