Malcom's POV

"Baby come on. We got to go." I yelled from the bottom of the stairs to my wife. "Don't rush me! Perfection takes time! Time waits on me!" Jessica yelled back. I checked my watch to check the time. There was a knock on the door. That must be Malachi and his fiancée. I walked over and opened the door. "Hey bro. How's it going?" Malachi asked once I opened the door. "It's going good so far. I got my wife and my daughter. That's all I can ask for. You?" I told him. "I'm ok today. Just got to push on." He said. I turned to Tyler and shook his hand. "Hey T." I said. "What up. Where's the wife and kid at?" He asked. "Taking forever. Like usual." I said.

"You talking shit?" I heard from behind me. I jumped and turned around to Jessica with Aliyah in her arms. "Pshh... no I was saying how beautiful you were. I love you." I said and opened my arms. "Ahem. Let's go boys." She placed Aliyah in my arms and walked out. "That was scary." Tyler said. "Tell me about it."

We just got to my moms house. We were here to pick her up along with our Abuelas and abuelos. I walked through the door since all of us had a key to the house. "I'll go see if mom is ready. Y'all check on the trips." I told them. They nodded and walked off. I slowly made my way through the hall. All the memories I shared in this house running through my head. When I got to the door I softly knocked on it. When I heard a faint 'come in' I walked in. "Hey mom." I greeted her with a smile.

"Hey Mal. Is everyone waiting on me?" She asked. I nodded. "Yeah. The others went to get the trips and I came to get you. We just need to get Abuela and Ally then will head to the church." I told her. "Ok. Just give me a minute or two." I nodded a walked out her room. Making sure to close the door behind me.

Dinah's POV

I looked around the bedroom Y/n and I shared. Well not anymore. I will be sleeping alone in this room now. I remember it like it was yesterday. Where everything in the world seemed to stand still.

~Flashback~

"Turn there." I told Y/n. We were going to the pick up Carla from her friends house. Then go to the mall to get her a new phone. "Are you sure?" She asked. "Yes baby. I'm sure. I've been here multiple times." I said. "You right. I forgot." She pulled up in the driveway. Carla must have been looking out the window cause she ran out the door as soon as we pulled. "Why'd you run out so fast?" I asked my daughter. "The sooner I get out. The sooner I get my new phone." She said.

I smiled and shook my head. I was about to say something but stopped when I heard Y/n groan. I looked over to see her holding her chest with a pained expression. "You alright mama?" Carla asked. "Yeah I'm fine." She said and gave a reassuring smile. "Are you sure? You looked to be in pain." I asked. "I'm fine lol mama. Just a little heart burn. That's all. Let's go." She said. I nodded thinking that may have been the problem. But boy... I should've went with my first instinct.

When we got to the mall we headed towards the apple store. When we got inside it was for some reason almost empty. Only a few people inside. "Seems like we picked the best day to come here." Carla said. "Yeah we did. Come on let's go get your phone so we can go." I told her. After an hour we were out and leaving the mall. We were almost to the car when Y/n grabbed hold to my arm. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I-I... h-heart..." She said as she clutched on to her shirt. "Carla called the ambulance!" I told my daughter as Y/n collapsed to the ground.

~End of Flashback~

Y/n had a heart attack that day. That day my life turned upside down. I lost the love of my life. My soul mate. Y/n was my everything. Others thought we wouldn't make it this far. But we proved them wrong. We made it through thick and thin together. But now she's gone.
