Me to Garrett: Hey do you know why we don't have school today?

Garrett to Me: Teachers meeting, after that I have a surprise for you, my love. Look pretty and I will be there in two hours. Your mother should have a package from me, go see what it is.

What? Where will we go without anyone seeing us? I walked to my mothers room and asked for my supposed present and I open it and it was a beautiful red dress and a note

Dear Atlantis,

I want you to wear this dress, and make yourself prettier than what you are originally. Which is probably very hard because you are absolutely beautiful. Have fun and I will see you soon

I walked back to my room and I couldn't stop smiling. What did I do to deserve such a sweet soul? I don't know, but I am grateful

New iMessage from Liz

Liz to me: Hey, school is out, do you want to hang out?

Me to Liz: I have a date with Garrett, but can you come over and help me figure out what I'm going to wear?

I never got a reply back, but about 10 minutes later she showed up with makeup and a hair curler

"Let's get to business" as she shoved me . I shook my head and started laughing. We got into my room and she was looking at the dress

"This dress, oh my god. How much did this cost?" she said shocked. I looked at her and shrugged my shoulders

About 2 hours later, I was finally a finished product. I looked in the mirror and I was a different person. I looked different but a good different; I wonder why he wants me to be all pretty.

"Wow, you look beautiful, Atlantis. He sure is one lucky guy to date my daughter" my mother said peeking through the door.

"We aren't dating which is weird, but I'm grateful for what we are now."

There was a knock on the door and Liz ran to the door and I heard talking and it was Garrett. I couldn't breathe, I was so nervous. I really like this guy, like it has been a long time since I fell for someone. The beginning of freshman year I dated a guy named Leslie until the beginning of my junior year; we had to break up because he moved far away. I loved him and it broke my heart to see him go. We haven't talked since then and I don't want to, I found someone who makes me just as happy. That relationship wasn't an ideal relationship. It wasn't bad, it was just a long relationship that shouldn't have been that long.

I walked out into the living room where everyone else was and all eyes were on me but the one that I loved was his eyes on me; Garrett.

"You look beautiful, my love." Garrett said smiling

"You two have fun, and don't get caught"

We walked out the door and into his car. I was so nervous for tonight and where we were going. I hope it's going to be private

It felt like we were driving for hours, I looked out the window and saw a bunch of trees. Where is this man taking me?

We finally got there and it was a beautiful restaurant. We parked and and walked in and there was nobody there.
