Author's notes on Clytia (end)

We watched the boss as she materialized inside the space, which they dubbed "the waiting area." Here, hosts are brought after they complete a world quest.

Huh, wouldn't you agree that time spent in Clytia was short-lived? Do you want to know what happened after the boss left?

Everyday, Cricket spent his time with Germ by his side. However, Germ was a fool. Once, Cricket left her side for one week. Thus, she had completely forget about him.

No worries, he had all the time in the world.

Whenever she did not remember him or their child, he could carefully and slowly explain to her. To him, it was the best feeling in the world to see Germ fall in love with him once more, and to keep loving him and their family. Never had he, a harlequin, ever think that he would feel.

In his deathbed, Germ and he laid together in an embrace. Society did make fun of the two, since their social status were practically on opposite sides of the spectrum. Nevertheless, they did feel a bit of envy. Their children gave the two a grand funeral, their love story spread and lit short-lived hope in many foolish girls.

Thus, the world continued as it has been. Or maybe their love--told for many eras--will eventually change of the ridiculous society of Clytia.

Silver gave her a blank stare.

"Keke," Boss coughed, "uh..,what's the next world?"

"Understood," Boss placed her fists against her hips and puffs up her chest, "Okay! Silver, how many points do I have? Show me what I can upgrade! Then, you must upgrade yourself!"

[Wah...So bright] Silver swiveled around. His eye on each side of his body opened one by one, blinking and squinting as the bright room blinded him momentarily. [Mm. The controls are much more easy.
