LAST TIP:
*** If you're having trouble not making it exciting, fun or "good enough", don't ever trail off your PLOT to another idea, that confuses the reader and also.. makes no sense -___- .
If it's not exciting enough, go back and edit it, and remember, never as the writer explain things in the story when it comes to the problem. Make the reader be curious, make your main character solve it on his/her/its own. And to make things easy, try making the main character an ego you, or someone completly not you. It makes things easier for you to understand the character. Trust me, this works ;)
