Y/n's POV
Today's the day. The big game we play (schools enemy) and it's the game that would let us make State playoffs! I invited c/n and I few more of my friends. I was sitting in the dugout about 5 minutes before the game started as I saw c/n walk up and sit in the stands. "Alright y/n, your going to play 3rd today because you can throw far to make the throw to first. Your also clean up batter since you have hit 3 home runs this year. If you screw this up your not just letting me down, your letting your whole team down too kid." My coach says which put tons more pressure on me of course. The game starts and we are down by three already in the first inning.
Skip to last inning of the game
We were down by 2, 2 outs, bases loaded. I walked up to bat and everyone was on the edge of their seats. I walk in the batters box. First pitch, "striiiiiikkee" the umpire says. "255" my coach says. 'Shit bunt signal' I think. I suck at bunting. As the pitchers winding up I go into my bunting form. I feel the ball hit my bat. It goes behind me. "Foul ballll" the umpire yells. In the back of mind I hear my coaches voice, " if you screw this up, your not just letting me down your letting your whole team down too kid,". Then I hear c/n voice "come on y/n you got this. Come on babe!" 'BABE?!' I thought. I had 2 strikes this was win or loose. "Down by two" the announcer says. I step into the batters box and get in my batting stance. She winds up and it's coming straight in the middle. I swing and I feel that it was a pretty great it. As I'm rounding first everyone starts screaming. I look and it went over the fence! As I'm rounding third everyone in the stands is standing at home. "GRAND SLAM (your schools name) WINS! THEIR GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS!" The announcer screams. "Hey y/n!" I hear c/n say. "You turned around, "ye-" I got cut off as he gave me a passionate kiss. "Y/n will you make me the happiest boy ever and be my girlfriend?" "Oh my gosh of course!" I said happily. After the game me and c/n went and got ice cream. Let's just say it was a pretty great night.
