Summer in LA

Waiting

We get to the hospital and they take Sarah away into a room. I have to sign in for who I am and a couple piece of paperwork because I'm older than Samantha. Once I'm done I walk over to Samantha who's just looking at a wall with a blank expression on her face.
Elise - You should probably call your mom and dad. I'll call the boys to let them know.
She nods and starts to pull out her phone. She takes a deep breath before she even turns it on. I go over to a different chair so we don't hear each other's conversation. I try Danial but there's no answer. So next I try Corbyn, still no answer, I try Jonah and there of course wasn't a answer from him. I try Jack but again, no answer. So lastly I try Zach and a female voice picks up.
??? - Hello?
Elise - Hi, this is Elise. Is Zach or any of the boys around?
??? - No, there practicing. But I can take a message for Zach.
Elise - Ummm, can you go right now and tell them it's a huge emergency that involves Sarah.
??? - Ummm, sure.
I hear heels walking and a couple of doors. Finally I hear voices.
Zach - Babe tell her Sarah can wait. I'm busy.
Danial - Wait, who's on the phone?
??? - Ummm.... Oh! Alise? Wlise? Something like that.
Then I hear Danial voice clearer
Danial - Elise, why didn't you call me first?
Elise - I did, I tried all of you guys but this girl was the only one who picked up.
Danial - Oh, that's Loren. Zach's new girlfriend. I told him that it-
Elise - Sarah's in the hospital.
Danial - What?!? Since when?!? Is she alright?!!
Elise - Since like now. She went for a huge wave and when life guards got her she wasn't breathing.
There a silence that last for about 2 minutes.
Danial - Where all coming over there.
Elise - Wait! What about your guys show?
Danial - Doesn't matter. Be there in a sec.
I look over at Samantha who is about to cry and is on the phone. I go over to the desk to see if there's any information on Sarah yet.
Lady - Hi. How may I help you?
Elise - Ummm, do you have any new information on Sarah Jarbou?
She does some typing on her computer and then looks up at me. I start to panic but reman calm on the outside.
Lady - She has a lot of water in her lungs. There not sure if she's going to make-
Elise - Oh, ok. Thank you for the up-
I start to cry and fall to the floor. A couple of people look as if there thinking about helping me but then Samantha runs over and picks me up.
Samantha - What's going on?
She starts to cry a little but I don't wanna make her be really sad.
Elise - I'm just so sad about this all.
Samantha - I know, but she's going to be fine. The doctors know what there doing.
I nods and try try stop crying.
Elise - So did you call your parents?
Samantha - Yes, there coming with Sebastian as soon as the nice flight is.
I nod.
Elise - All the guys are coming over as well.
Samantha - What about there tour?!?
I shrug because I don't even truly know. We sit in silence for the next hour and 1/2 then a doctor walks into the waiting room and pulls me aside.
Doctor - She's breathing again, but it's very light.
I nod slowly and hold back tears.
Elise - Wants the chances she's going to make it?
The doctor looks back at the doors he came through then back at me. He frowns and I get the point. He puts his hand in my shoulder and then walks away. I stand in shock until Samantha walks over.
Samantha - My parents are almost done with the flight. We gotta pick them up from the airport.
I nod and start to walk to get my keys and phone.

We get Sarah's parents and brother and come back to the hospital. Sarah's mother runs to the front desk asking for an update. She has to fill out information before they can tell her anything. Once that's done the Doctor comes in and pulls Sarah's parents away from us. Her dad nods slowly and her mom starts to cry. After a little bit her parents come back over to us, but before they could say anything Danial comes running through the doors. When he sees me he runs over to me and gives me a huge hug and starts to kiss me. The rest of the guys come and they all go over to Sarah's parents. Sarah's parents come over to me and Danial
Sarah's mom - I think you guys should go home. It's not fair for you to be worrying about Sarah and have to wait here for her.
Elise - No, it's ok. I want to be here for her.
Danial - Yeah, I came over here just to be here for her.
Sarah's dad - We know and we will call you whenever there's an update. Now go to the house and we'll see you all soon.
Samantha - I think Sarah would want us here we for when she wakes up.
Sarah's mom - I'll tell her you wanted to stay. Now take Sebastian with you, we will call you once we get a update.
We pile into the car and the boys ride in there tour bus. Me, Sebastian and Samantha rode home in silence. I don't think I can live with out Sarah. She's my best friend and I don't know what I would do if I loosed her.
