The Five Stones

Chapter 1

Alex's POV

  I wake up and stretched, yawning. I look around for my only friend, Jay. Hes the only one I have anymore.

  He's a magical creature my mom gave me. He has a lot of cool powers, just he can only do a few.

His sepecailty is shape shifting. He could take any form. Animals to objects. His favorite form was a small tiki that looks adorable.

He wore a carved mask over his real head. The mask looks like a coconut with the mouth and eyes carved out. With a small body, he had small arms and legs. With three leaves sticking out the top looking like hair.

He's the only one I can talk to. I live here alone, I'm the only human left. This is world is all I need though. Beautiful fruit trees, green grass, and a lot of amazing animals that spend their lives protecting me. It does get a bit lonely but I'm just happy to be alive.

I get up and walk to my bathroom. I stare at myself in the mirror. I have wavey blonde hair with small streaks of brown and gold. My eyes are an ocean blue with tiny golden spects and green going around my pupil. I have pale skin with freckles on my nose. I'm kinda short and really skinny.

I change into some black jeans and a lose blue shirt. I put on some hightops and tie them up. After I'm done getting dressed I brush my hair amd style it how I like. 

I then go to the kitchen, to find Jay in cat form sitting on the counter. Hes a small white cat with pink eyes. His ears are up and hes laying down.

Once he sees me he stands up stretching his two front legs out. He jumps down and walks over to me while changing forms. He changes into a human form.

He has hazel brown eyes that sparkle bright.  His skin tanned. His black hair parted to the left and styled to stay. His body strong and he was taller than me.

"There you are Jay, I didn't know where you went!" I say smiling.

"Sorry decided to go ahead and eat before you got up" he responded smiling back.

"Ah so you already ate?"

"Ya, sorry I didnt wait for you"

"Thats alright, you can go now." I said reaching for an apple

He nods changing into tiki form and running away. I laugh and bite into my apple. I head to my room eating my apple on the way.

I finish the apple as I enter my room so I throw it away. I go to my bookshelf and look for a good book. I find one and pull it out. It was dusty and old looking.

"The princess" Its about a young princess who runs away with a boy and falls in love. Its cheesy but its still one of my favorites.

I go out to the balcony and lay on my hammock. I get cozy and open my book. Soon jay comes and jumps on my stomach as a cat. "Oi! Jay careful!" He just nods and lays on my stomach.

I scratch behind his ears earning a purr from him and he falls asleep. I close my eyes and soon drift off to sleep as well.
