if my mother

If my mother died

My eyes would
Be broken for years
Always leaking
Like an old sink

My body would
Curl up
Trying to recreate
The womb

All lights would go out
And all fire would be put out
Because she provides
Light and warmth

I would forgot how to
Speak and walk
Because
She taught me how

My heart will fall
From my body
And I won't know
How to put it back
