"Connie! Were going to be late hurry up!" Christian yelled. "Okay I'm here!" I replied. We walked out of the house and hopped on our bikes.

We started riding along the sidewalk. "So sissy, you excited for your first day of High School? " Christian asked giving me one of his hideous smirks. "No I only have one friend." I muttered.  Surprisingly,  he heard that. "You'll make more throughout the year sissy. I just know it."

Well there's my brother for you. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Connelly Stewart.  But call me Connie. I hate that name so much. I'm 14 and a HALF years old. Now you my be wondering.. am I like the girly girl or the big bad tomboy? I'm neither actually. I'm just...I guess you could say normal.

Me and Christian arrived at school and put the locks on our bikes. "Well Connelly,  welcome to Ridge way High School.  I looked at the school.  It was so big, looked about three stories tall. We walked in and the hallways were crowded. Everyone was just trying to find there classes. Since It's a big school It's going to be very hot since everyone is really just smashing into each other. "Okay, so your first period is..Mrs. Hamilton.  She is your history teacher. She's a little...strict but if you get on her good side she'll treat you like an angel." I nodded and the second bell rung.

"Well that's it little sis. The class is upstairs so you better hurry up and get there. You have five minutes." Chris said. He kissed my cheek and walked off. What a cheeky bastard.

I arrived and I looked around. Everyone was sitting there looking nervous as hell. I guess they know this teacher is strict.  Then I saw my best friend Starr.  I sat next to her and she looked at me with wide eyes. "Connie!" she hugged me tightly. "Oh God! I missed you so much! How was your summer?  Did you get a haircut?  Oh my God, you definitely got a tan!-" "Starr!! Calm down. I missed you too." Starr was my best friend. We've been besties since 3rd grade. She always had my back when I needed her.

Finally, Mrs. Hamilton walked in the room. "Okay Good morning class. Today, we will be introducing ourselves. We will day everything about yourselves. Your race, nationality,  your sexual orientation, your--"

HOLD UP!

Did she just say 'sexual orientation' No....No.

"First off is, Rain Carlson." Rain got up and spoke.

"Hi my name is Rain Carlson I am 15 years old.  I'm Dominican and White. I'm straight and what I like is music, art, books, and fun." Everyone clapped as she sat down.

As everyone went up and introduced themselves. I was literally shaking.  Now,  you must be thinking, 'Why are you shaking?' It's because Mrs. Hamilton said 'sexual orientation' meaning gay, bisexual, Lesbian, or Transsexual. I'm one of those. Lesbian. I just never have the guts to tell anyone.  Usually people tell there best friends first. It's so sad to me that I can't even say this to Starr.  I turned to Starr and I felt extreme guilt in my body.  She smile at me then turned back and was watching the person who was presenting.

"Okay, Thank you D'onte.  Next up, Connelly Stewart." My hear was now pounding through my chest. It was so hard and fast I thought it was going to pop out of my shirt. "Ms. Stewart, any minute now." "O...Oh I-I-I-I'm s-sorry." I say with an apologetic smile. I walked up and looked at everybody.  They all stared at me. I took a deep breath.

"Hi my name is Connelly Stewart. I prefer Connie. I am 14 and a half years old.  I am Irish and American." Here Goes the sexuality part. "I am...s-straight. What I enjoy is hands, bikes, long boards and art." I added. Everyone clapped and I sighed in relief and sat down.

Few minutes later the bell rung and I walked with Starr. We only had 1st and 2nd period together but we'll are each other at lunch.

After second period ended it was now time for lunch I walked in the canteen and looked around. It was the freshman and sophomore lunch. So there was only  9th and 10th graders here. I saw Starr and sat  down. So, how are you liking high school so far?" I asked.  She didn't respond. "Starr?" I asked shaking her. She still didn't respond. I looked at who she was looking at. It was some guy at a table with a bunch of other people. "Starr!!" I screamed. She also screamed and fell to the floor. Some people were even staring. The guy was staring and giggled and winked at Starr. Starr's cheeks flushed red. "Awe does Starr have a crush on someone?" she got up annoyed.  "Is it that obvious? His name is Justin. He's so sweet. But He's so popular with friends and crap and I'm so...not." Starr sighed. Poor her I wish I could help. "Starr, how about you just go up to him and talk to him." Starr eyes widened. "No! I am not. You know what, I'm not even hungry. I'll see you later." Starr walked out of the canteen leaving me here worried as hell.

It was now 4th period and it was art.  I've always had a thing for it. People say I was really good at sketching and then I got into the canvas and the paint brushes. Everyone got in but then one girl came in.

She was beautiful.  She had gold blonde hair, chocolate brown eyes and flawless skin. She was wearing a white V-neck,  black skinny jeans and a plaid collared sleeved shirt wrapped around my waist. She was wearing black, white, and red Jordan's. She was so coded.

"Connie!" I flinched and turned around to see a Ginger in my face. She had  emerald green eyes with a tint of brown and a lot of freckles.  "Hi!" she cheered. "Uh hey. How do you know my name?" I asked. "Oh I figured it out! I'm Angelica.  Please call me lica though." she smile. She's a bit excited but I could make a friend. I turned around but the coded girl was no where to be seen.

I must find her. Fast.
