Every vampire and human charged ahead as they roared, screaming to the top of their lungs. their weapons lunging forward. Liam peered across the field as he saw Abi across him, sword in his hand as he received wounds, fighting. Liam, watching his people die from silver swords, gritted his teeth as he then saw his own kin. They were using weapons. They were sucking blood. One by one, each person and vampire from each side dropped as quick as a match being lit. Just then, he locked eyes with one person on the field. Confused, he rubbed his eyes. His eyes were not playing tricks on him. It was Princess Nike. She was harnessed with an armor that wrapped around her, keeping her safe. He turned to Abi and saw him surprised at the sight of her.
Nike was running towards Liam now as every vampire came her way allowed her through. Abi, worried about Nike, ran after her, slapping each vampire to the side, killing them.
"N-NIKE!" Abi shouted. "NIKE! NIKE!" He shouted as he was close. Just as he was going to grab her wrist, she slipped further ahead as she made her way to Liam.
Abi gritted his teeth as he poured his strength into the sword he had in his hand, making his way through the vampires.
"NIKE!" He screamed as he reached out at her, figure going farther away.
Nike ran through the vampires as she and Liam's eyes stayed glue to one another. Just then, a hand grabbed her as she was hanging from over someone's shoulder.
"Hang on." Kite said. He jumped through the air as Nike screamed. As they landed on the ground, Kite threw Nike down on the ground in front of Liam as Kite immediately bowed.
"You said bring her to you. Not delicately though, M'lord." Kite mumbled. Liam shooed Kite as Liam pulled Nike. He pulled her into an embrace as Nike squirmed in his arms, trying to pull apart. Liam sniffed her hair as he ran his hand through it. He suddenly stopped.
"Why do you smell different?" Liam asked. "What did you do?" Nike pushed him off her as she glared at him. "And what's with that wonderful.. Wonderful look?" Liam asked, feeling it. Nike looked grossed out.
"Stop this war Liam." Nike ordered.
"Why? You're the queen to the vampires-"
"NO!" Nike screamed. "You're wrong! I am not a queen to vampires! I am queen to humans!" Liam's eyes flared red as he grabbed Nike's wrist. He tore off the armor off Nike's chest as he pulled the undershirt down. He held her in front of both armies.
"LISTEN UP!" Liam yelled. "I HAVE YOU QUEEN! YOU SO CALLED HUMANS!" Every action on war stopped and stared. "I HAVE DECLARED THAT NIKE- YOUR QUEEN- IS MY WIFE-"
"NO!" Nike screamed as Liam licked her neck. The human army screamed in anger as they advanced towards Liam and Nike, fighting to protect their queen.
Just as Nike felt Liam's fangs sink into her skin, Liam groaned, letting Nike go. Nike turned and saw Abi breathing hard as blood oozed from his wounds.
"Are-Are you okay?" Abi asked, leaning against his sword, knees on the ground.
"Abi!" Nike cried, cupping his face in her hands, tears beginning to fall. Nike dropped to her knees beside Abi as she pulled him into a hug. Kite hovered over Nike as Abi dropped backwards, pulling her with him. Abi laid on the ground breathing heavily as he felt his head swirl in pain.
"DAMN YOU HUMAN!" Kite screamed. "JUST DIE ALREADY!" He swung his sword once more but was struck down by Liam.
"DON'T!" Liam yelled. "DON"T HARM MY WIFE!" Liam said, eyes red. He pulled Nike as he bit her wrist. Abi growled in pain as he stood up, hazy. Nike groaned as she pushed Liam away. Liam licked his lips for remaining blood as he lunged at Abi, ready to kill him.
