It was a jolly day when Drake was born. All the Immortals came to Akai's house to see the baby. Akai was a strong human. He had a stern face and was very muscular. He had a dark beard which dangled from his chin. He had a sword strapped to his belt and had a nice, Tusker coat. Akai was well known through out the Immortals as a master dragon slayer and protector of the clan. Akai's son was expected to be just like him. Drumaid was holding little Drake in her hands. Drumaid was a most beautiful Immortal of them all. She had long auburn hair that reached all the way to her thighs. She wore a pendant over her forehead. The magical pendant was rare and one of a kind. Drumaid wore a long, silky dress which touched the floor. Drumaid smiled and showed her baby to all the Immortals who willingly came, most of them Akai's friends. All the men patted Akai's back as he smiled, happy to be a father. " What is his name" the blacksmith Fabron said. Drumaid showed a big smile and looked at Akai and they both said at the same time " Drake". Everyone cheered and clapped. That day was a happy day for all and they cheered all day but it didn't last. As Drake was asleep in the night, the house shook like a tornado has hit it. Akai and Drumaid got up and ran to Drake but he wasn't there. The room was empty and there was a huge hole in the roof. You must be wondering, what made that hole? That's what Akai and Drumaid were thinking as well. They heard a loud screech, a reptilian roar coming from outside. Drake was outside, snuggling in his basket but a RockScale was looming over him. RockScales are dragons native to the mountains. They had scales as hard as the mountain itself and were hard to kill. Drumaid seeing her son in danger, fainted and fell to the ground. Akai tried to help her but she wasn't moving. Akai, with tears in his eyes, unsheathed his long dragon scale sword and slashed at the beast. Of course Akai was a skilled hunter, he never encountered a RockScale before. The RockScale stared at Akai, drooling dragon drool, and roared loud enough to go 6 km in every direction. The battle was on. The RockScale crushed rocks as he walked to Akai, breathing fire as he did so. Akai mumbled magical words and held his hands out, and a shield made of hard light had appeared. The fire went around the shield, leaving Akai with no bruises or injuries. Akai couldn't run in this terrain so he led the dragon closer to his house. The RockScale followed and tried to slash Akai but Akai quickly dodged the move. Akai ran and slid under the legs of the dragon and stabbed him in the stomach. But this is were Akai made a grave mistake. As he slid he ended at the other side of the dragon. The dragon hit him with his club-like tail and send him flying. Akai landed, unconscious and everything started to get dim. He cried his last tear, for not protecting his only son and for not protecting his wife. The last thing he saw was the dragon takeoff.
