Matt: Perfect

It's three weeks until the annual Hi5 Studios banquet. At this banquet all the awards for the past year are given out. The awards include top editor, funniest video, funniest office worker, etc, There is one award that Matt told me that I'm in the running for even though I've only been working at the office for seven months. The award is Employee of the Year. I have no idea of why or how I'm in the running to win that award. Maybe Matt didn't mean to put my name for that award. Maybe he meant to put my name in the Best New Employee section. I'm currently sitting in my shared office at blue base with Ankush and previously Elliott. I was semi-given Elliott's position as the BU editor. I'm in the middle of looking at a product for James when Kevin calls me into his office. I walk to his office and see him and Joey. Kevin speaks up.

"Y/n, please shut the door."

"Okay." I say shutting the door. "What do you need?"

"Take a seat please."

"Uhm Kev?"

"Yes Y/n/n?"

"The only other seat in here is taken by Joey. Do you want me to sit on his lap?"

"Sure. Joey you don't mind?"

Joey shakes his head no. I walk over to Joey and climb on his lap. He wraps his arms around my waist as if he likes me. Next thing I know Joey pulls me closer to him. Kevin speaks up again.

"Y/n, I called you in here because Joey asked me for help with something. Joey go ahead and ask y/n the question."

I turn around in Joey's lap and look at him. He finally speaks up.

"Y/n, do you like Matt?"

"W-w-what do you mean?"

"As more than friends y/n."

"N-n-n-no."

"Y/n, Kevin and I have seen the way you look at him. You aren't the greatest at hiding it. The truth please?"

"Fine. I do like Matt as more than friends. But if I tell him it'll ruin my friendship with him. Please neither of you tell him."

"We won't tell him. We can help you though."

"How?"

Kevin and Joey both tell me the plan of how they are going to help me hide my feelings for Matt.

*Time Skip To Banquet*

The plan Kevin and Joey came up with seemed to work because Matt never noticed my feelings for him. The only downside to hiding my feelings for Matt is that my feelings only got stronger. I'm sitting at a table with Kevin, Joey, and Bryan and his family. Before the awards we have a delicious meal. When it comes time for the awards, there is a slideshow of everyone up for the award being talked about. There are two awards before the employee of the year is announced. Both Kevin and Joey look at me with big eyes when Matt says my name to go on stage. I head up and I'm stopped by Mike before I get to the stage.

"Y/n, before you go up I have something to tell you."

"What Mike?"

"Matt likes you. A lot. Like he thinks about you all the time. I've caught him just staring at you these past few weeks."

"Mike, there is no way he likes me. Now I've got to get on stage."

I continue to the stage. When I get there Matt helps me up on stage because I'm wearing heels and well, let's just say stairs and me with heels on don't really agree. When I get on the stage, the slideshow is changed to my picture and things about me. The picture Matt chose for me is one where I am wearing his sweatshirt after a BU challenge because I got cold. I think back to what Mike said to me right before I got on stage. Maybe Matt does like me back. I wipe the thought from my head when Matt randomly calls Kevin and Bryan on stage. Bryan and Kevin were the other two up for employee of the year. Matt has us stand next to each other with me in the middle. Kevin nudges me and then Bryan does the same thing. Bryan leans down to me and whispers in my ear.
