Mitch: Say You Won't Let Go

*Mitch's POV*
I walk into the Rekt set and see Patrick and Gunner with a girl I have never seen before. I walk over to them and wait for one of them to notice me. The first person to notice me is Gunner.

"Oh hey Mitch. How long have you been there?"

"Not long Gunner. Who is the new girl if you don't mind me asking."

"It's cool. She's Matt's new assistant. Her name is y/n. Mitch meet y/n. Y/n meet Mitch. Today is her first day."

"Nice to meet you y/n."

"Nice to meet you too Mitch. I should probably get back to Blue Base, Matt just voxed me saying he needs me. We still on for lunch Gunner?"

"Of course. See you then y/n"

I look at Gunner confused. Gunner looks at me and smiles.

"Gunner?"

"Yes Mitch?"

"Are you and y/n dating?"

"No. She's my sister. She kind of likes someone who works here though. And that someone is part if the Rekt crew. He also is part of BU and Fail Time."

"Really?"

"Yes really. In fact he's standing right in this room."

It takes me a second to realize that Gunner means me, since Pat doesn't work for BU, just Rekt and stars on Fail Time.

"Wait Gunner, do you mean me?"

"Wow that took you long enough. Yes I mean you Mitch. I was talking to Tanner last night about next weeks Rekt shoot and she overheard your name and got curious. She asked to see what you looked like so I showed her some pictures of you and I could tell instantly, just by looking at her eyes, that she likes you. She started smiling like an idjit. Tanner even called her out on it. She tried to deny it but she couldn't. She admitted to us that she thinks you're really cute. I'm surprised how she kept her composure earlier when she met you."

"Can I say something Gunner?"

"Of course Mitch."

"When I first saw her, I thought to myself 'wow she's gorgeous'. If you don't mind me asking Gunner, can I join you and y/n at lunch today so I can get to know her better?"
"Sure Mitch. Just one thing."

"What is it?"

"Y/n just went through a harsh breakup. Her now ex-boyfriend cheated on her with her now ex-best friend. For 2 out 3 years that they were together. She was extremely hurt by it. I think she is still recovering. I do trust you to not hurt her but I don't know when she will be ready for a new relationship. She might be ready now or she might be ready in a month. Just don't rush anything if she isn't ready."

"I won't, I promise. So what time are we leaving for lunch?"
"Around noon if that's okay for you."

"Yeah that's good for me. I should get to the GG set before Matt hollers at me."

"Alright, I'll see you then."

I take off to the GG set and stop short when I see y/n with Matt and the rest of the crew. Wow she is really pretty.

*Y/n's POV*
When I saw Mitch in person earlier before Matt needed me all I could think was 'wow he's even more handsome in person'. I make my way over to Tanner and jump on his back.

"PAUL WHAT DI- wait Paul you're in front of me. If you're there, who is on my back?"

"Me."
