Lucifer stepped back. "All these years I've been waiting, waiting to crush your skull in my hand!"
A sudden, gripping force clenched my head and jaw, as Lucifer lifted a tense, shaking hand.
Gripping my head with one hand, I shoved the other out, as a defensive force. I didn't know what my hand would do for me, or what I wanted it to do.
It didn't work. Suddenly, he stopped and tore his open, claw-forming hand through the air and it aimed straight for me. I dodged, feeling the searingly painful rush from having to move my head. I couldn't guess how much I was bleeding, if I even was.
"You don't know nearly how much strain I withstood, waiting 6,000 years for you." He smiled evilly.
"I've been trapped under this hideous place for 6,000 years. Do you know how hard it is to withstand the stench of 6,000 years worth of flames and death? It is HELL. Literally. It tortures you slowly until the life is slowly sucked out of you."
I rolled my eyes. "Sure..."
"You think I'm kidding?!" He pivoted, screeching the words out. "I'm serious!! Would you like proof?!" He raised his hand again, this time twisting in turns. Before I had a chance to answer, his turning hand cast extreme pressure on my head, causing it to throb with pain. Suddenly, an image of flames burst before me. I could smell the terrible odor of blood, rivalry and death. It was a barren wasteland of bones, rotting flesh and corpses, and the sun was black. If that even was the sun, which, considering that we were under the earth, it probably wasn't.
"This is Hell?" I wasn't surprised, but this seemed different than I'd imagined.
He scoffed and lowered the bottom half of his lip mockingly. "Uh, yeah." He raised his hands and then slapped them down at his sides. He turned and rubbed his forehead, sighing. "Stop distracting me!!" He growled. "You know what?" He swiped his hand behind him, dissolving the surrounding images. He stepped back to me and shoved his index finger an inch away from my chin. "Why don't I just kill you now?!"
My eyes widened and I ducked out of his way just in time as he swooped down at me. He was taller than anyone I'd ever seen.
"I gonna make your death so slow, you'll remember it in Hell with me because you failed to save humanity." He smiled a grinch-like smile and did a flip, swooping down at me. He lunged with his hands trying to grab me but I dodged by ducking onto my stomach, sliding out, flipping up and kicking him across the nose. He leaned over, nose gushing with blood. I couldn't see his nose anymore.
I lifted my chin, proudly scoffing. "Hmph."
He stood straight again, turned around, and did some swirling hand movements.
"Who died?" I mocked him because I was pissed with him, right then. Honestly.
He just grunted and continued with his twists and whirls. Eventually, he stopped. Suddenly, he turned as Aaron, Rien, and Ambur ran in.
"Oh, look who decided to join us." He looked serious now. "You know what? Now that they're here, I think I'll kill them all first so you can watch them die." He swooped away, ducking under the unusually bent stone arch-type bridge just above him, (again, he was REALLY tall). He walked straight over to Ambur and waved his hand in front of her. He began to walk back, his hand suspended behind him. Somehow, Ambur was slightly hovering off the ground, being dragged with him. He dropped her at the "front" of the room. As the boys started to go after her, Lucifer restrained them with a flick of his wrist. "Nice try."
