"mommy!" the small, blonde-headed six year old called out and she ran towards her birth mother. she fell into her arms, signaling she wanted a hug.

lavender held her daughter tightly, giggling slightly.

"what's wrong buttercup?" she asked, holding sky in her arms. marina walked up behind them and knelt down next to lavender.

"i wanna play dress up! i want you to play with me!" the girl piped up. lavender giggled again and marina smiled.

"okay! marina?" lavender smirked and looked up at her wife.

"of course." marina nodded and smirked back at her.

you could almost see stars in sky's eyes. she smiled widely and guided both women to her room, decorated in all types of blues and white accents.

sky excitedly opened the trunk that kept all her dress up clothing and make-up. lavender and marina sat down on the floor, waiting for their daughter to finish rummaging through her things.

sky pulled out a blue cape that mindy had given to her and gently placed it around lavender's shoulders. she also gave her a white bow to put in her hair.

then, she scrambled to put marina's curled hair into two uneven ponytails, and applied lip gloss to her lips, also placing a bow in her hair.

sky then put on a dress herself, to be specific, a sleeping beauty one. the blue one she wears the majority of the movie. she was adorable.

"look at my little princess!" marina exclaimed as she scooped sky and proceeded to tickle her. the small girl laughed and squirmed.

lavender smiled at her wife and child. she couldn't be more content with her family. she gently glided her fingers over her wedding ring.

after watching her wife and daughter wrestle for a bit, she hauled marina off of sky and smuggled her with a kiss on the lips, and then released her. marina stared a bit, surprised, and then blushed. sky was thrown into a fit of laughter.

"ha! she laughs when you get confused!" lavender taunted marina.

"oh, shush!" marina retorted teasingly. sky still laughed in the background.

lavender scooped up sky, once again, and held her tight.

"i love you, skylar anan." she said, kissing her child's cheek.

"what am i?" marina questioned teasingly.

"the love of my life." lavender replied, tilting her head back to kiss her.

they were a little happy family.
