It's been the same thing everyday for a couple of days. A hooded figure comes and checks in on me. He's dressed in all black and is always shielding himself from my view. The only thing I can ever see is his light brown curly hair which pokes out from under his hood.  He brings me bread, or rice, and water 3 times a day. He never talks to me or even communicates what so ever. Sometimes at night though I here muffled noises coming from the room adjacent to me. I assume its him on his phone or something but that's all I know.

The hooded figure walked in with my usual breakfast. As he was undoing the chains on my hands, I thought why not make small talk? Sure I was scared but I needed to at least figure out somehow where I was and why I was there. Besides, Daddy always taught me to be brave and face what scared me the most. I heard the chains fall to the ground as one of my hands was free.

"So, can I know your name?" I asked with a smile.

The hooded man, obviously surprised with me attempting to start a conversation, turned towards me quickly. I assume his face would have been just as suprised, but he was good at hiding it entirely from my view.

He quickly resumed fiddling with the locks on the other hand, this time a bit faster. I'm sure he wasn't used to his kidnapped victims trying to talk to him. But hey, if I was going to die with and or because of him, I might as well know the guy.

I tried again. "It's a lovely place you've got here. I especially love the mildew scent. It definitly adds character." I laughed at my own stupidity as I awaited a response. He finished the other lock and handed me my food. "Thank you good sir!" I said as I jokingly saluted him. He slowly walked towards the door and right before he left he turned towards me a little. And for the first time within those couple days I saw part of his face. The light hit his face just right, and for only a split second, I saw half of a pearly white smile and one beautiful green eye. He shook his head slightly and left the room.

Sometime in the middle of the night I was awoken by the hooded man. He came in with a bag and undid my hands and feet once again. I was still half asleep to his dismay so it was hard for me to walk. I remember hearing him laugh a little and then picking me up bridal style as we walked somewhere. I remember being set down on a leathery material and something shutting right before I went back to sleep.

I woke up some hours later and rubbed my eyes groggilly. I wasn't complining though. Even though it wasn't comfy it was a million times better than that dumb ass wooden chair. I streched out my arms.

"Ow! Haha." I look to my left and notice the hooded man rubbing his head as he continued driving. Except, he wasn't hooded anymore. For the first time ever I got a real good look at him. His curly brown hair that cascaded down his face and his soul piercing bright green eyes. I smiled as I looked at him, he was so attractive! I know I wasn't supposed to think anything of the sort because he was kidnapper but I couldn't help myself! He looked at me oddly so I looked away.

"Why aren't I bolted to the floor? Aren't you worried I'll escape?" I question accusingly.

"I didn't bolt you to the floor because I didn't really have you pegged as a stupid person. We're going down the highway at 70 mph. If you want to take the risk of jumping out of the car go ahead, but I don't know how well that will end for you." He chuckled.

A silence passed between us for awhile but he kept looking at me strange.

"Is there a problem?" I questioned.

"Why aren't you freaking out. Someone you don't know took you and you're just sitting there so calm." He said.

"Well, honestly? I am a little freaked out. But at the same time if anything really happened to me there's only two people it would really effect. My dad and best friend. I've learned throughout my life that everything happens for a reason and that sometimes, when you know you can't win, to let things take their course. Plus I screamed almost every hour or every day these last days and my lungs are quite tired." I finished.

"Well, I suppose I respect that, the facing letting things take their course thing. I just want you to know that I'm not intent on hurting you. You weren't the target of this mission, but it just so happened you were the only one at the house." He shrugged. "Now I know I said I'm not intent on hurting you, but if for some reason we have some problems, which I hope we don't, I will take necessary actions." He said.

"Haha okay "dad"." I laughed. He smirked as he kept driving. "So, what's for lunch? I'm quite hungry and I'm really looking forward to some more bread and water." I sarcastically remarked.

"Ha-ha so funny. I packed sandwhiches actually." He reached behind the seat and grabbed a lunch bag. "There's also some apple wedges and juice boxes." He smiled.

"Wow juice boxes? You really went all out." I laughed.

"You're quite sassy aren't you?" He asked.

"Might as well make good use of my last breathing days." I smiled.

As night started to fall I leaned my head against the window and thought of my dad. No matter what happened I was going to miss him. But there was nothing I could do in this situation.

"I love you dad." I whispered right before I went to sleep.
