The doctor said Hyacinth is okay. She fainted due to shock from the accident and stress. She'll be discharged from the hospital after about three days. Once I heard this news I called her mom, preparing my ear drums in the process.

"Hello, Mrs Caraway? This is Ionna Brown"

"Oh, Hello?! Is Hyacinth okay?!! Youre principal told me she drowned and---*sniff*--- she fainted! How is my daughter? I cant even..."

Hyacinth's mom shot ferocious questions and cried with her voice ringing all over my phone as I tried desperately to lower the volume.

"Umm, she's okay maam, just, calm down please? She's sleeping right now...were at the hospital----"

"Oh my gosh! Hospital?!! Where's that hospital, Ionna? Oh my goodness...my baby, she's---" she cut me off and staryed crying again, so I told her the exact address, my ears as far away from the phone as possible and hang up as she muttered "Im Coming"

Hyacinth's POV

My mom came barging through my hospital room door as I started to eat the food Ionna gave me which she tells is from the Mighty Michael Jadens. She'd been recounting what happened from the ambulance trip to how moms voice was as loud as sirens. Michael left as soon as he bought the chicken curry for me and Ionna's been forcing me to eat ever since.

"Oh, Hyancinth! Baby, what happened? Are you okay? Have you eaten yet?" She eyed the food immediately and let out a:
"Uh you're sick Hyancinth for Gods sake, why are you eating that----" before I cut her off

"Mom! Im not sick"

"But, baby, you still ought to eat healthy food, thats why youre so sickly, and...this is a hospital, for once in your life eat some nutritious food."

"Ughh, enough with the pep talk" I said as Ionna looked grudgingly at the soup mom set down in the table (she's an anti-healthy-food kid -.-)

I downed the soup with no enthusiasm down my throat as I listened to Ionna stating the events for the second time tonight and saying she needs to go after that.

"Hey! Kid! Why'd you go swimming when you dont know how to, huh??" mom started

"Tsk, firstly: mom im not 'kid'. And I'm fine, mom. See, Im not dead, Im still solid flesh its not like I have cancer, or do I?" I said jokingly but heard a goodness-gracious-dont-say-that and a slight flick in the head from mom.

"You are lucky someone saw you! Who was it anyway?, the one who saved you from your last breath?"

"Just...no one mom" I said iritated as I remembered Michael.

"No,. I'll ask who it was, We need to thank that kid---"

"You dont know him mom" I ended the conversation.

Someone had been sending get-well-soon cards to me in my 3 day stay at the dark and gloomy hospital. Sending along a bowl of chicken curry with every card that arrives (which I eat whenever mom's out buying tissues or something)

The curries are delicious anyway amd they've been my only source of happiness during my 72 hours in semi-hell a.k.a hospitalization. And I love chicken curries anyway. Somehow the doctors haven't said that I have any serious sickness besides brain hemorrhage...just kidding, besides coughs and colds.

After resting for a day I arrived at a school full of gossip about 'Michael Jaden's Heroic Act'. Every now and then people would be asking about a detailed statement of how Michael-The-Hero saved me from my 'distress' (gosh this isnt some kind of holliwood indie film!). Shooting me questions like 'Did he do CPR?' which I try to ignore without much help from the two cause Ionna kept saying "Please give me a piece of publicity, my famous friend" and Angel somehow found absurd joy in saying "Thats what you get for sleeping in the ground, haha" infront of the cafeteria, in the halls, in the gym....in crowdy fu**ing places.

School is pretty boring nowadays and I often stumble upon the thoughts about who gave me cards and curries. I ask Angel and Ionna about it, but they said they didnt have the money to buy me anything as pleasant as a package of get well soon cards or bowls of chicken curry. So I came to the conclusion that an unknown and a person not so close to me sent them.

The cards and curries...
