Her POV
The chilly spring air blows my hair to my back. This is almost the millionth time I get late at school and any moment now Im gonna be suspende again.I hardly ate breakfast and my stomach keeps doing some kind of acrobatics. I drove my small motorcyle to the school gate and park it there. An unusual quietness greets me as I enter our classroom.
----------
"Ms Caraway you're late again, mild detention on 3:00 sharp" my teacher greets me as I enter our classroom.

Am I cursed with an unlucky charm or what? Its the exams! Why did mom not wake me up?. The bell rings about an hour later, after finishing my bio-chemistry exam I quickly packed my things and went to the cafeteria. There, at the far corner sits Rayen Angels, the mildly popular-girl-in-a-bad-way friend of mine.
"Ooh, hi!" she says in her always-dreamy voice
"Hello Rayen, hows your exams?" I said
"Its OK but...I hardly got A+ at Physics cause I forgot to write 'is' at my essay about Newtons third law, I bet mom's not gonna be happy"
Oh, I forgot to tell you that her highness is a genius or we'd rather call her...a nerd. My attention gets averted to the muffled giggles of the girls at the other the cafeteria. Theyre all looking at the same direction, seemingly petrified by something. The I suddenly understood...there with his gang buddies is Nux James Michael Jadens, the most famous person at school. Everyone falls in love with him, and when I say everyone, I MEAN EVERYONE. Even ths teachers favor him cause he's 'a charming little boy'. But for me he's just one show-offy git.

Friday morning
Everyone is busy talking about the concert this evening. 'Prince-charming' is gonna be there, he's a dancer and theyre performing tonight for ous school's fund raising concert.
I saw him ther that night, dancing as if theres no tomorrow... And I hate it. I hate the way he moves his body in time with every rhythm and beat. I hate the way everyone cheers for him. I hate him. D'you know why I hate him thatt much?.Because he's the one who chose to forget me, to leave me with this new personality, the one who broke me.

Michael's POV
First day of school+ 1st year college
The moment I stepped out if our car I saw a very beautiful girl, with big dark blue eyes...A familiar person. My jaw almost dropped cause I haven't seen her for about two years now, and I miss her.I miss those eyes specially the sparkle I see when she's laughing, the tenderness in her voice when saying my name and that sweet person I always cherished before... But now I see a very dark aura living through her. Behind her smile, the hidden beast shouts and roars the moment it saw me.
For years I regretted the decision of leaving her, of breaking her heart and turning it the other way...I loved her, I love her. She hates me a lot and we never spoke, now, were in 2nd year college. We join in almost every class but she always lets me feel the pain of being ignored by the person you love the most.

Her POV
"Class, we are planning to go on a class outing next Wednesday until Friday and I am expecting you to cooperate...You'll have to pay for your entrance and food expenses is gonna be arranged by the school. Its only for you second years, so please behave.", our teacher announced

" Oh, what the F*ck?! I hate this!" I thought

"Its required that you come for educational purposes...so dont skip"

I sighed.

Wednesday

"Ms. Rose Hyacinth Acalypha Caraway, are you ready?", a voice from behind me asked. I turned, surprised to see the beaming facs of my other friend, Ionna Vomica Brown as she chuckled at my face. "Looks like you're staying...damn, why do you have a lot of baggages? Its as if you're going to Antarctica or something"

"Nah" I said with a very bored voice.

"The bus is going, hurry up" Rayen cut in.

We arrived at about 10:00 at a nice but boring place called 'Brynths Paradise', which doesnt seem true.

"Come on, please lets go swimming! We promise you won't drown"

"Fine, I'll go!" I said

Michael's POV

I heard a girl screaming, then I looked at where the sound comes from and see a figure struggling in the water, crying for help...someone drowning. I quickly ran to the water's edge and swam to the person. I grabbed her to the shore. She lost consciousness and as soon as I set her down the sand, I eventually recognized her.

"Is she breathing?!" a panicked girl asked

I leaned to her mouth and felt no trace of breathing. I shook my head and the teachers eventually told me to do CPR. I pumped my hand to her chest, leaned to her nose....no response. I did about those same things for a couple of minutes, but no sign of breathing is visible. Then my teacher suddenly commanded me to do mouth-to-mouth CPR as almost everyone gave space to me as I positioned myself.

Her lips feel wet, tingling, sweet. I missed that sensation, and as soon as butterflies started erupting from my stomach, she stirred.
