Charlie's POV

Am I seeing her differently? Or else she's the same?

Alyssa! Why did you get into my head from the past one week!

I'm not able to sleep because of you and your thoughts.

"What are you doing?" Damaris walked inside.

I almost panicked. "You scared me!"

She laughed. "Beta!" I kept a poker face. "What's the matter Alpha?" She asked. "Nothing. I'm just..." I showed my books. "You're reading? Without me!" She cocked her eyebrow. "Spill the beans Alpha!"

"What?"

"I'm noticing you from past one week. You're not you. I mean you used to be you. But not now. Especially when Alyssa is around. You're behaving wierd! I can't make out! What's it?" She asked.

It's high time. I should tell her.

But I know she won't judge me. She's my best friend, after all!

"I... I think... I think I'm in love." I said. "What?" She almost chocked. "What did you just say?"

I nodded. "I think I'm in love with Alyssa." I shrugged.

"How? How did you know? I mean when?" She asked widening her eyes with shock as well as happiness. "From the day we rescued her. I am mesmerized with her beauty. She's... I mean she's really gorgeous inside out. Her heart is very good and her beauty is beyond explanation! You know! I really love her Beta! But... I am just scared to express that! What if she says no? My heart will be shattered. I just need her. I want her. I want to spend the life with her. Get married, have kids, cuddle up with her when I'm feeling to. Never judge her. Respecting her. Loving her. You know Annie is also amazing. She would make an amazing sister-in-law for me. We would get along together so nicely! But how Beta? I'm just..."

She was with a wide grin, listening to me.

Woah! Alpha is really in love.

I never saw him speaking about a girl this much. He really loves Alyssa.

But he's just scared. Maybe that's what love is!

He's scared that Alyssa will reject him. But only if he knows.

He was not scared when he was with Ivanka. But I think this is love. I think he's genuine, as he is always.

I love to see my best friends get married to each other.

I can't stop grinning.

"I'm sure that she'll not reject you Alpha." I said. "Really? How?" She almost shouted like a kid. "Charlie!!!!" I stood up and grabbed him by his shoulders. "I mean how can anyone reject a sweetheart like you! I would never miss you, but my boyfriend would kill me if I did that!"

He chuckled.

"But Alpha, mark my words, if you vent out your feelings to her, she'll never reject. Mark my words, she'll never reject!"

He sighed and nodded.

I saw a silhouette out of his tent. "Alpha, someone's there!"

He turned his head back and saw the silhouette. "Hey, who's that?"

We ran out of the tent and saw someone running, but that person was out of our view.

"Who could it be Beta?"

I shrugged, tilting my head.

"Let's grab dinner. Come on." He snatched me.
