New beginnings

Today is the day I'm joining the college. I hope students are good to each other here.

Not like Massachusetts!

I don't wanna go back to that times where I got badly bullied!

"Annie! Where are you?" I shouted. She ran to the room, frantically and jumped as if she gained few millions.

"Guess what!" She winked. "What?" I got confused. "Look who's in here!" She snatched me. I was in my pyjamas still. I need to get dressed.

We ran downstairs and saw him!

I felt a bit shy. My cheeks became red.

"Charlie, this is Alyssa. Al, this is Charlie." Annie introduced.

"H-Hi!"

"Hey! You know what, we're in the same college and same stream." He said. I got even more tensed.

God why are you doing this to me???

"But don't get tensed. Everything will be alright."

I gave a soft smile and nodded.

He gave a soft smile and started talking to Annie. I ran into my room and closed the door.

Thoughts going on my head. But I shook them off and changed into blue colour skinny cat t-shirt and black colour leggings. I straightened my hair, put some makeup on, took my silhouettes and I am ready to go. I took my black sling bag. I hopped downstairs, hoping he left.

Thank God he left!

"Where were you Al? He was talking to us!" Annie kept a poker face as she always does when she gets disappointed. "I was getting late to the college, so I went to get ready. I know he'll understand because we're of the same college!" I said.

"But you became nervous! Why?"

"You are too young for this! You'll know when you like a boy!" I said.

"So you like him!" She had a startled expression on her face. I had a blush on my face and nodded. "I knew it!" She shouted! "I know that from yesterday you're like this! You got lost in your thoughts, you were blushing for no reason, you were really gutted and every mood swings!" She said. "You know?" I got shocked. "You know about love Ann?"

She nodded.

I mean she's still in high school, so I thought that she is too young for these matters.

But she changed my thought. She knows what's crush and what's love!

"Okay! I'm getting late. See you soon." I hugged her.

"Bye mom! Bye dad!"

I ran to my car and hopped into the driver's seat. I turned the key on the ignition and the car started. I know where my college is!

It is just a twenty miles from my house and I stopped as I reached.

I hopped down, making sure that everything is locked.

I went to the reception and reported. I ran to the lockers and took my books. "Hey! new here?'' A girl asked. I nodded with an exciting smile. "So new people are allowed in the middle!" Her friend said. "Maybe boo!" The other girl said. "What's your name?" She asked. "I'm Alyssa Carter." I gave a grin. "Oh! I hate that! I hate that because I hate you! Oh by the way, I'm Ivanka Cyrus. Queen bee of this college!" She flipped her hair.

Now I noticed her. She wore a skin tight crop top and a skin tight pencil skirt to reveal her body! These bullies are fit for nothing!

I shook my head and started walking. Then I saw Charlie. He didn't notice me. He directly went to Ivanka and her gang. "Hey baby!" She hugged him.

He didn't.

So they're a couple?

Am I at stake?

What's going on?

"What did you just do with that new girl?" He asked. "Oh! That! Just got acquainted!" She smirked, looking at me. "Don't lie to your boyfriend ivvy!" His voice became bold. I never heard this!

"Sorry!" She said. "You must be!" He hugged her. I ran to the class room and sat down beside a girl, mumbling something. "Hey, you okay!" She tried to keep a hand on my shoulder. I saw her with fear and moved a side hugging my bag. She scrunched her eyebrows. "Is it that Ivanka?"

I nodded. "I'm so sorry. I didn't know." She said. I smiled. "I should be sorry. I thought you're also trying to bully me." I said. "Never."

I smiled. "I'm Michelle. You can call me Mich." She said. "I'm Alyssa. You can call me Ally or Al."

Instantly we became friends. I had a small curiosity to ask her whether she knows about Charlie or not.

Meanwhile it's lunch time. We went to the canteen to grab our lunch. "Umm... Mich, I-I wanted to ask you something!" I hesitated to ask. "Spill!" She said, shoving her sandwich inside her mouth. "Are Ivanka and Charlie a couple?"

She looked up and again stared her tray, nodding. Then I saw him coming to the canteen with his gang. There was a girl too. Cute like a teddy bear. She had a short blonde hair, she was wearing a t-shirt and jeans.

Is Charlie a playboy? A womanizer?

"She's Damaris. Charlie's one and only best friend." Michelle said. My doubts got cleared. I took a deep breath and sucked my coke with a straw.

"She's nice." Michelle said. I saw Damaris coming towards us. "Hey Michy! Is she a new bee?"

Mich nodded. "I'm Damaris Miller!" She grinned. "I'm Alyssa Carter." I grinned. "Get your lunch you lazy but!" Charlie shouted. My eyes got wide opened. My jaw dropped. "Close your mouth Al! It's common in here." Michelle said. I nodded.

Meanwhile someone played a song which I like. 🎶My baby's fit like a daydream, walking with his head down, I'm the one he's walking to...! Call it what you want yeah! Call it what you want to.🎶 "I love this song!!!!" Damaris shouted. I laughed. She dramatically gave a face turn to Charlie and sat with us. "I love Taylor Swift too." I said. "Swifties here!!!!" She shouted throwing her hands in the air. We laughed. "Where is Ivanka and her gang?" I asked. "Oh! They're banned from coming to the canteen. They destroy some furniture here and named it as a destruction party." Damaris rolled her eyes. "I always tell Charlie that she is not the right person for him. I say that someone special is waiting for him. But he argues. Never listens to me!"

So is Damaris in love with him?

"We're childhood friends. We grew up together. Like brother and sister." Damaris said. I smiled wide. "Why?" Michelle asked. "I-I have a... Okay!" I took a deep breath. Before coming to the college, I know him. He's my neighbour and I like h-him." I blushed. "Really?" Damaris almost shouted. I closed her mouth. "What's wrong alpha?" He asked. "Just some girls this beta! You will never know!" She rolled her eyes.

Rest of the day went well without Ivanka and her silly gang.

I actually love it in here.

I like my friends already. Michelle and Damaris are so good.

I did a better thing moving to LA!
