Project Work and Results

That evening

Alyssa's POV

"No."

"This is good."

"No. This is just weird Charlie."

"I think this would be sweet."

"I love panna cottas and soufles. Also sweet pancakes."

I and Charlie are discussing over their project. "Lets stick on to pannacottas. Soufle's are difficult to master and pancakes are our cup of tea." Charlie said. "Yess! Let's do this!" I said. We became so excited and started it practically.

So Alyssa! This is your time to show off your cooking skills and impress Charlie.

We decided on a flavour. Now if we start it easy and get it right, we can do more favours with this technique. They said we should bring our desserts and show in front of them. That'll be a tasting and results. But if we get an A+, we're safe from the second test. If we don't go through it, we're busted.

"It's a chocolate and raspberry! Yummmm!!!" Charlie closed his eyes, with a divine expression on his face. It's like he's enjoying by thinking about it.

God! He's so cute!

"Alyssa! You sure you know how to make a Panna cotta?" He asked. I nodded quickly, taking the chocolate chips and raspberries from the refrigerator. "Now watch and learn!"

First, I place morsels in a microwave-save bowl. I microwave it for 45 minutes. He's just watching me.

"Alyssa, if you want any help, I'm here."

I nodded, taking the bowl out.

"I'll ask you some serious questions Alyssa. Please answer them frankly if you think me as a friend." He smiled. I nodded, taking a saucepan. I combined heavy cream and granulated sugar and kept stirring it.

"Alyssa, what do you think about my friends?" He asked.

"Ummm... Charlie... They're good!" I replied hesitantly, not sure what to answer.

"Okay! What do you think about Damaris?"

"She's my second best friend, after Mich."

"That's great." He said. After a twenty minutes, "God please be nice to us!" We whispered in unison and laughed seeing eachothers face. Finally, we take the Panna cottas out of the refrigerator and I checked if they're right or not.

Thank God! You saved me!

"Charlie, wanna taste?"

He nodded, took a spoon and had a bite. I was seeing him nervously and he smiled.

"Yayyyyyy!!!!" I shouted, jumping. "This is amazing!!! Love you!!! I-I mean, I-I" He stopped. I can feel blush on my face. "Let's think of another flavour for tomorrow."

We went to my room and started preparing the project report. Charlie is on the diagrams side and I'm on the writing side. Annie wanted to help us, but she had some assignments, so she became busy. "I want Panna cotta!" She shouted from the kitchen.

I guess she's seeing the Panna cottas I made. "Just a minute Charlie. I'll be right back." I ran downstairs.

"What?" I sighed.

She saw me and rolled her eyes.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked. "You made Panna cotta and I didn't get to taste it!" She kept a poker face. "Why do you make it an issue? They're here and you can happily eat them!" I rolled my eyes, folding my hands. "Yeah, right!" She nodded. "Now can I go up?"

She nodded, busy eating.

I jogged upstairs. Charlie had already prepared the drawing part for the project and I should type the matter now. He's dictating me.

Next day, in college

I saw Ivanka. But didn't give her a shit. But I saw only Natasha with her. Her other minion is not there! Guess she took a leave. Anyways! Why do I bother about them.

Our turn came.

"Mr. Jones, Ms. Carter, present your seminar." Mrs. Chan said. I took a deep breath seeing Charlie nervously.

"We can do this." He whispered. I nodded. We started.

I really can't believe that we presented it so well!

Well, we deserve to treat ourselves.

But later.

I can see a jealous face of Ivanka.

I laughed to myself. She's such a bitch! Can't she leave him for good? She's immatured.

"Class, I'll be right back and get your results." Mrs. Chan announced. "Charlie!!! We did so well. I didn't expect!" I hugged him, squealing. "I am really wonderstruck." He said. "Love you for this!" I said, without having any second thoughts. "Haha love you too." He said. I can feel a blush on my face now. "What's going on guys?" Michelle and Damaris walked to us. Damaris winked at me. I widened my eyes shaking my head quickly. She chuckled. "Congratulations guys." Damaris said. "Thank you!!!" We said in unison. "I guess someone is having a wonderful time!" Michelle winked at me. "Well, I'm with my only best friend, I mean half boyfriend! So I will definitely have a wonderful time!" I winked. "Right! This is nice actually! I'm your half boyfriend so you're my half girlfriend!" Charlie said. I winked.

"Silent!" Mrs. Chan entered with our results. "Guys, you did an amazing job. Everyone at least tried their level best. But this is a project. So they'll be results. So starting from the least. The least scored Miss. Ivanka Cyrus and Joseph Smith. You got a F."

After announcing other results she came to the highest. But where's our name? Did we do that bad? I hoped that we did enough to get good grade. "So coming to the highest." Mrs. Chan said. I and Charlie crossed our fingers on the bench. "Miss Alyssa Carter and Charlie Jones. You got an O which means Outstanding. Your outstanding performance got this grade. Congratulations!"

WHAT DID SHE JUST SAY!? I AND CHARLIE GOT AN O! OMG!

We walked to Mrs. Chan and took our certificates. "We deserve a treat." He whispered. "That's what is in my mind." I giggled.

I bet Ivanka is jealous right now. I love to see her jealous face.

After the class, we went to the cafeteria. After lunch, "attention everybody. It's an announcement. Principal wants to see everyone after lunch." They announced in the speaker. "Again what!?" Damaris sighed. "Chill babe. I think it's gonna be a fun thing to do." Michelle said.

We walked out the cafeteria. "Hey you, stop!" I heard a voice and it's that bitch again!

Sighing, I turned back. "What now?"

Charlie rolled his eyes. "Can't you just live without drama?"

"Why are you bothering my best friend again?" Michelle folded her hands.

"Ivanka Pivanka, get out of here!" Damaris glared at her.

"Charlie!!!! I... I realised that I really can't live without you. I really love you. Please come back!" She started shedding fake tears. I rolled my eyes. "Look Ivanka. I don't have a thing for you okay. I'm happy like this. If you really love me, you should leave me alone because my happiness is what is important for you. I'm happy with my best friends Damaris, Michelle and Alyssa. So please don't bother me again." Charlie gave a declaration to her.

I smirked, wrapping my arm around Charlie's. She gave a death glare. But I didn't care.

We walked to the assembly. Principal came to the stage, cleared his throat and started. "Good afternoon everyone. This is a serious announcement and I hope everyone will join this. Our college is taking you all on a ...
