Chapter 1: A Dinner of Despair- pt1

We all agreed to head to the dining hall to discuss and process what just happened. Shun was the first one to speak up.

"Well, It's only a house right? Maybe there's a way to get out?" He said with a bit of optimism.

After Shun Finished Speaking Rin spoke, "I-I'm not so sure about that...." She said quietly.

"And why is that?" I asked.

"Well... this seems to be very well prepared with the kidnapping, and the enchanted Bear.... So I would expect for them to make sure that we wouldn't be able to escape.... Otherwise all this work would be for nothing..." She replied to my statement.
We were all silent for quite awhile, I decided to go and cook everyone some food to try and ease the tension. I tended to cook mostly Ramen when I ate, mainly because I was always writing and didn't have time to make a proper meal, so this was gonna be new to me.

I cooked some rice and beef and put them in 16 different bowels, I then then topped it off with an egg. I put each bowel on a tray and took them out to everyone, "I-I made some food..." I said, a little anxious to see what they all thought of it.

A few people took it gladly and started to eat, but others looked at it skeptically.

"How do we know it's not poisoned?" Mio asked.

But then Shun quickly changed her mind, "Well, the Bear said we could only kill a maximum of two people, and if he did poison it, we'd all know it was him and I doubt he wants to die."

This shut Mio up quickly, she started to eat, she looked impressed but then that faded, "This is disgusting...." She pushed the bowel away and left.

Shun sighed, he patted my back, "Don't worry, the food is amazing, you did pretty good!" he smiled.

This made me blush slightly, no one had actually ever given me a compliment to my face, sure people have complimented my poetry, but that's different, I was born with that talent, so being complimented on it is kinda like being complimented on being born... But Shun actually complimented something I wasn't sure i was good at, it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, "Th-Thanks..." I smiled softly and started to eat as well. It was surprisingly good I thought, i mean I don't cook very often so I guess anything new must taste good to me.

Once everyone finished eating we decided to at least see what this place has. We split up into 4 teams. The first team consisted of Rin, Taki, Kiku and Kami. The second team had, Shun, Usagi, myself and Aya. The third team had Aimi, Nobu, Kiyoko and Yuu. The last team had Rio, Etsuko and the twins, Taichi and Jirou.

My team walked around the south hall of the huge Castle, the place was huge, but at the end of the hall we noticed that the stairs were blocked off.

"That's kinda odd...." Usagi said. Just as he spoke, monokuma appeared.

"Upupupu, to access the other levels and areas of this castle, you must successfully survive a trial." He chuckled.

"Then I guess we'll never know what's up there, because none of us are gonna kill anyone!" Shun said confidently.

Monokuma just laughed, "We'll see about that!" He disappeared.

I sighed, "W-Well we should at least check through all these rooms, see what there is.."

Everyone nodded in agreement. We all walked into a room with a cool looking door, it had pictures of thread and needles going through clothes.

"Hmm? What's this place?" I asked

Monokuma appeared again, "Why, this is a Talent Lab, there is one for all of you! I thought it'd be a shame for you guys to all waste your talents, this is the Elite Seamster's lab."

Usagi's eye's sparkled, "For me?!" he dashed in and I can only assume nearly fainted at how many fabrics there were. "Oh my.... So... many... I-I need a moment!" He jumped into a pile of stuffed plushies, the room was a pastel blue color. To the right was a rack of different types of fabrics, to the left was a bunch of sewing machines and a cabinet full of different sizes of thread and different types of needled. The whole Place looked like a dressing room.

"Wow it's..... Colorful......" I didn't particularly hope that my lab looked like this, but I hoped it would be interesting. "Do you want us to leave you here for a bit Usagi?"

"Yeah! Imma make some stuff for everyone!!!" He smiled so sweetly that I couldn't help but blush, he was so sweet but I couldn't stop this unsettling feeling about him.

"O-ok..." I said as the three of us left.

"That Usagi needs to try and be a little more careful if he wants to survive..." Aya said.

"What do you mean?" Shun asked her, he tilted his head a bit.

She replied to him in a monotone, "His carefree attitude makes him an easy target, not to mention how small he is, I would guess is is approximately 5'1"." She continued to walk.

I looked at Shun with a concerned expression, "She'd right, we should probably keep an eye on him from now now, after we finish this though." I said, knowing that we did have to get to know our surroundings if we were going to be stuck here for the rest of our lives.

We continued to walk around, finding a Gambling room, an Infirmary and two Bathrooms, one for boys and one for girls. We then came across one more room, this room had science symbols around it, I could only assume that this was Aya's talent lab. We stepped in and examined the room, there were tables with Chemistry equipment, quite a few cabinets with different types of chemicals, there were instruction book on what chemical mixed together could kill a person.

Aya looked at the stuff, her eye gleamed a bit before she walked out, "Come on, we should get Usagi and meet up with the others." She was already halfway down the hallway.

Shun and I looked at each other before following her.

After collecting Usagi, we went back to the Dining Hall and waited for the other groups to return. We waited for a good 15 minutes before anyone showed up, we all compared notes. Team One found a supply closet with extra kitchen supplies, things like Knives, Cleavers, Skewers, and a few meat mallets. They also found a lounge, the Ultimate Model's Lab, and a stage. Team Three found an indoor pool, A Meat freezer in the kitchen, and they found that all the windows had bullet proof glass. Team Four had found a watch tower, the Bedrooms, and the stairs to the dungeon, which apparently had a red door at the end of the main hallway.

"Ah, good, you found the bedrooms, I need to sleep." Aimi said yawning.

I nodded in agreeance, "Yeah, we should all get some sleep, it's been a long day." Everyone agreed and we all went to our designated rooms. I looked at my door, there was some kind of Pixel Sprite on it, I walked into my room and laid down, falling asleep almost instantly.
