Backstory: Kei came from an abusive family, a father who was an alcoholic and a mother who was never home enough to stop him. When Kei was seven, his father killed his younger sister while intoxicated, and his mother committed suicide after hearing word of it. Kei's father was put into jail for ten years (he would get out of jail a year before Kei graduates), while Kei and his older brother were moved to foster care, where they were taken in by two separate people. Kei holds a grudge against his brother, for not being protect his little sister.
Other: He is Anemic. He is a borderline insomniac. He rarely ever sees his brother. He doesn't get along well with others. He has a mental illness called Hyperthymesia. After his sister and mother died, and his father was taken to jail, Kei seemed to suffer from a year-long depression, but because he was only eight at the time, he didn't know what to describe it as. The words he'd use to describe the time was 'Sad, and very, very tiring.'
