Chapter Three

For the first time in a long time I talked to a girl I admired for that long.
Well, it's a good start. I thought.

I did not believe that feelings could drive someone crazy untill it happened to me. I didn't know the right time to tell her the way I felt but I was already crazy about her.

For sure, I don't recall loving someone this much. From the moment I put her on my sight I knew that I had already fallen for her.

I went home with all joy and happiness I had in me. Apparently I found my big sister, she comes home once in a while. She was the only person that would listen to me, understand me and give me some advice.

In short, she was my crime partner. As we chat I told her about Angie and there I stole away all of her attention.

"So have you talked to her?" She asked
" Of course I have" I said

"Did you tell her 'bout the way u feel?"

"Oh c'mon, it is my first time to talk to her. I can't just rush things."

"Okay. That's cool, don't waste your chances little bro" she insisted

"You know I will not" I assured her.

"That's the spirit." She said

"Ouh," I started " I have a date with her... This Saturday"

"Wow! Can see that you're already on the move" she said " Go and nail it my brother. I'm proud of you"

"Thanks Patty, when are you leaving?"

" A couple of hours after Dawn"

"That soon?" Of course I didn't want her to leave.

"Yeah, there's a project I'm working on and I need to put my attention to it"

"Okay.. all the best" I told her

Soon I went to my room. Nothing much did I do and fell asleep. It was a noisy morning as the beeps woke me up and my sister saying bye.

"I'll see you next week" I told her as she left.

I did my usuals and went for school. I don't know what will happen today that now I have a date with Angie.

Before I realized it, Andrew was there in front of me with some thin good looking guy. To my side i'd keep her far from my girl. Just by his looks I could tell that she loved girls.

" Hey Pete," Andrew started

"Tsup Drew " I said

"Cool man, dude this is my cousin from Alaska Joshua." He said, "Joshua meet my best friend Peter"

Damn I hate intro's. I told myself

"Tsup Joshua," I started

"Hey.. oh I prefer being called Josh." He said

"Cool" I said

"So how did it go with Angie pal" Drew teased

"Oh you have no idea man everything is perfect as I  hoped" I told him

"What happened you asked her out?"

"Yeah man and guess what" I asked him

"She said yes didn't she?" Josh asked with a curious tone

"Of course she did" I said pretending not to notice the expression on his face

"So when is the big night" Drew asked

"Today night man" I said

"There's nothing better than to have a date with your crush aye"

"You bet" I replied

The day moved fast. I met Angie and talked a bit then school ended.

Later that evening I prepared myself putting myself in the best way

I picked up Angie at her house. Damn isn't she astonishing, I told myself.

"Wow!" Was the word that came on my mouth " you look amazing Angie"

" Thank you Pete, you too look handsome yourself and sexy "

I like the word sexy, and the way she said it like she wanted me already. Damn it felt good.

We went to the restaurant around 8 pm

I believe it was best in the whole town it was very perfect for dates even for none couples like Angie and I.

We continued to chat as we were taking the meal telling each other bout how boring our day was. We finished with the meal but with the conversation we had it felt like we were just getting started

I requested more wine for both of us and the night kept getting interesting

"So tell me.." she started

"I'm listening "

" Who is your girlfriend?"
