Chapter One: Wanted

A notification appeared on Vince's visor as he walked through the hoverrail, his head down and his face shielded by his hood. The notification read: Wanted Dead, Vincent Creed, alias The Bogeyman, Reward 500kc. Vincent smirked as the tram rounded a corner, and he pressed a small button on the mask he has on his face currently, and the mask retracted under his hood into a temple brace he had on his head. It wasn't the first time he'd been on the wanted list, but it was definitely the highest bounty they'd offered for him. No doubt that got the attention of a few of his rivals, but he wasn't really frightened of them. The bounty wasn't so much for the man he turned in, it was for where he did it. The building he had entered was known as a safe haven. Both for bounty hunters, and well known criminals. The hoverrail slowed to a stop and Vincent got off, blending himself into the bustle of people around him in the station. The station was hundreds of feet above the city, with only the skyscrapers surrounding the view, but that didn't slow the inflow of people in the least. He walked to the end of the platform, stepping around some people and moving some people to make space for himself to walk. As he reached the end of the platform he turned and looked around, before activating his grav boots and running off the side of the platform, changing surfaces until he was parallel to the platform above. He looked up, towards the ground, and waited as a hovercar pulled up beneath him. He knelt down and disabled his boots, falling onto the roof of the car and sliding into the passenger seat.
"Boy, you've really stirred up a storm now." Siren said. Armed with a plasma blade and several other weapons, Siren was as close to an actual friend in this line of work as he could have. "Hell, if I wasn't a friend I'd fucking kill you myself for that money." She smirked.
"Thank you for not considering it, I'd hate to kill you, Siren." Vincent grinned.
"I never said I didn't consider it, I just said I'm not going to kill you." She teased. "Encounter much resistance?"
"Kind of. They obviously need to upgrade their security." Vincent remarked haughtily.
"You've got every bounty hunter within 2,000 clicks looking for you, Vincent. I have a feeling that's a good enough work force." Siren remarked.
"That's a very valid point." He said, nodding. "Can we move? We're under the hoverrail."
"Where do you expect us to go, Vince, you-"
"I was thinking O'Malleys."
"Don't cut me off. I was saying you're currently being hunted by everyone."
"And I'm saying I currently want a drink. Can we move? I don't care if someone tries to kill me, would they really succeed?"
Siren groaned but nodded, shifting gears to fly the vehicle through the city.
"I still think you're a bloody idiot, heading to quite possibly the most famous bar for people of our..." She paused, before smirking. "Stature."
"Well for the record, it's mostly known just by us." Vincent chuckled. "And I doubt O'Malley is going to be letting anyone but himself shoot someone in his bar."
"And if O'Malley shoots you?"
"He won't."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm a solid ninet- no, a solid eighty percent sure." He nodded curtly. "I saved his life that one time."
"After sleeping with his daughter."
"He hired me to keep her safe, I did after all manage to protect her and in turn we had a very heartfelt and passionate moment."
"I didn't need to know that."
"Are you sure? I can go into detail."
Siren turned to him and glared. "Vincent, if you value any part of yourself that will come off at the end of this blade I advise you shut up." The hover car landed with a soft thud, outside of O'Malley's bar.
"I honestly think you should wait in here. If there are people in there that want to kill you, they know the best way to do that is through me."
"Shit. Doesn't that make you a liability?"
Siren shook her head and chuckled, opening her door. "Only if I inconvenience you." She said teasingly, running her finger along his chin and stepping out of the car.
Vincent's lips pursed as she stepped out and Siren shook her head with an amused grin as she walked towards the bar, weapons primed and within arms length.

Hijack jumped off of the roof. He never really knew where he was going to land, but he knew he'd land somewhere. As he started falling his HUD displayed a blue circle to his vision, showing him places he could teleport. He flicked his left wrist, and a button appeared in his palm, and the circle had locked into place. As long as that circle was there, he could walk a mile from it and still teleport back. As he fell past the circle he pressed the button and landed in a roll. He was immediately running again, jumping across rooftops as if it were a dance. His HUD blinked with all of the different bounties, ranging from blue in color to a bright red. That of course, meant how much the bounty was worth. He hardly saw red bounties, but today he saw a bright red bounty pass above him in a hovercar. Who the fuck is that? He thought. He continued teleporting after the vehicle, finally stopping in a crouch as the vehicle landed in front of a... Bar? He looked on and saw one figure get out of the car and a dark blue bounty followed her figure, but he remained focused on the red. The red bounty remained in the car, and so after the second figure walked into the bar, he hopped down from the roof and sped toward the vehicle, priming Jaws, a heavy shot hand cannon with four very powerful concussive shots.
