Vincent waited in the car, fiddling with the holographic tech that he had tested during his previous mission. Despite the imminent danger he had put himself in, he was still surprised as the vehicle that he was in shook with a crushing force. He sprung into action, throwing the door of the vehicle open and diving out, grabbing his rifle and priming it, aiming at his assailant. Hijack leapt onto the car and leapt back down, firing another blast at Vincent, aiming for his legs to disable him. Vincent rolled back, activating his HUD, propping himself on one knee, shouldering the butt of his rifle and firing, taking Hijack straight in the chest. Hijack's eyes were hidden by the visor he wore, but his face changed as Vincent had propped himself up, and he had no time to react as the concussive blast took him in the chest, sending him hurling backwards. It impacted, and he rolled multiple times before coming to a stop.
Vincent stood up, holding his rifle up with one hand, his other hand reaching for the energy pistol he currently had holstered.
"Might I ask what the bloody fuck you're doing?" He asked, not specifically angrily, more curiously.
Hijack lay motionless.
"Oh my God, are you dead?" Vincent asked. He walked over cautiously, his pistol primed and pointed at Hijack, waiting for him to move.
"Not dead, just waiting." Hijack said, turning over and pointing his arm at Vincent. Vincent furrowed his brow as Hijack's spaulders primed, firing taser projectiles into Vincent's chest.
"Agh son- of- a-" He uttered, but couldn't finish as he slumped to the ground.
"The great 'Bogeyman', is it?" Hijack said, nudging Vincent's body with his foot. "Not all that, I must say."
Vincent hadn't lost all feeling in his arm, and aimed his energy pistol at Hijack's head. He set the pistol to stun, and fired.
Hijack's helmet snapped off of his head and he was knocked into the air, falling flat on his back.
"That's cause I wasn't trying to kill you, asshole." Vincent muttered, before letting his body go limp, beside the now immobilized body of Hijack.

"O'Malley!" Siren cried when she walked into the bar. "How're you doing, you bastard?" She asked.
"Oym might'y fine, Siren, but what the e'er loving 'ell are you doing in my fucking pit?" He asked, tapping his fingers on his bar.
"Aw, is that any way to treat your favorite customer?" Siren asked, walking up to the bar and leaning on the counter.
"You stopped being my favorite customer when ya stayed friends with Vincent." He grunted.
"Oh lighten up O'Malley, he's not that bad."
"Not that bad? The man slept with my fucking daught'r, or have you forgotten?"
Siren winced. "I haven't, but I think you should give him a break. He is very good in bed." She smirked.
O'Malley grew redder after that comment, and she quickly changed the subject. "Well, did you hear there's a bounty on his head? He snuck into the Tower."
O'Malley's jaw dropped. "The tower? Blimey, that's suicide." He stated. "I know. He kinda needs a safe place to stay." She said quietly.
O'Malley's face changed, and his voice grew hushed. "Do you know where he is, Siren?"
Siren pursed her lips and shook her head 'no'. O'Malley accepted the answer, then said louder. "Anyone who shoots Vincent Creed first gets free drinks here as long as I live!"
He received many hurrahs from that, and there was one "You're already damn old, O'Malley!" To which he glared, but then he turned back to Siren. "He's free to stay here if you'd like." He smiled.
Siren dead panned. "O'Malley, if you weren't my favorite bar, I'd shoot you. Let me get my usual." She shook her head and groaned.
O'Malley grinned. "I don't know why you operate with cohorts like him."
"It's because he can take out everyone in this bar single handedly, and with my help it wouldn't even be a fight."
"Oh, very full of yourself again." O'Malley laughed as he mixed her drink.
"Again?" Siren said. "O'Malley, I've always been full of myself, and last I checked that hasn't changed."
Her drink was set down on the counter in front of her, and she tipped her head, nodding in approval. "You do know Vincent's bound to walk through those doors, right?" She asked.
"Oh, I know. And lord knows, I'm fond of the boys skills. I just wished he'd fucking die already." O'Malley said, drinking a special concoction he had made for himself.
Siren made her drink practically vanish as she finished it, just as the doors opened.
"Nice to see you too O'Malley, how's your daughter?" He asked with a click of his tongue. Siren sighed as the weapons around them were primed, and O'Malley nodded as he walked to the back. "Just don't hurt my bar," he said to Siren. "Or I'll fuck both of you up."
Vincent piped up. "Will do mate, thanks."
"And she's doing well." O'Malley said, earning a small smile from Vincent. O'Malley then walked into the back, and he was gone.
