I slowly opened my eyes to see a wolf staring back. I sighed, wondering why he was waking me up so early.

" Zwei why are you waking me up so early. It's not even 7 yet" I groaned as I glanced at my clock. I pulled my sheets over my head as I try to block the light coming from my window.
Suddenly I felt my sheets being pulled off me. Angrily I sat up and faced my partner.
" What's so important that you need to bother me this early?!" I yelled at him frustrated at his antics.
" Well I apologize that I'm waking you up for so you didn't your first day of school" he responded with his mouth pulled back.
Great...he's smirking at me now. But he was right. Today is my first day at UA...which starts in 45 minutes!!
" Aww crap!" I shouted as I shot out of bed and got ready. Looks like I'll be skipping breakfast.
As I got ready, I noticed that Zwei wasn't around. He must of reverted back into my shadow but I can't help but think he's laughing at me. I ran out of my apartment with only 20 minutes left to arrive at school.
"I really wish I could ride Zwei to school..." I grumbled to myself.
Zwei pov:
I watch from the shadow of my master as he runs towards his new school. Watching him run to school reminds me when he was a young child...which of course reminds me the first time we met. It's been 10 years since that incident. The first time my master summoned me. Granted I tore the arm off his old man be deserved it. He was gonna harm my master. Still not the greatest first impression.
However because of that incident, the people back from our old home in America treated him poorly. They ignored him and called him terrible things. Despite becoming a bit timid around people, he never hated them. He dreams of becoming a hero in order to help those who need it. So no one will have to go through what he did.
Even though we're partners, I'm the only family member he has. I want to see my master have friends and hopefully find himself a mate. As my master runs through gate, I look and hope this place will break my master's shell.
Y/n pov:
I run through the gate with some time left spare. I stop and decide to take moment to catch breath.
"Are you ok ribbit?" I hear voice ask me from behind me.
I turn around see a girl with long dark green hair that tied into bow at the end. She was slouching a bit and I noticed that her hands were larger than normal. Something about her face reminded me a frog.
"Wow she's really cute" I thought to myself as I felt my cheeks heating up.
"Umm hello is everything?" She asked me again with a concerned look.
"Huh...o-oh yea I'm ok. Just catching m-my breath since I was running late" I responded to her. " I'm new here so I didn't want to be late."
She tilts her head as she places a finger on her cheek. I couldn't believe this anime cliché was a real thing.
"Well you may want to hurry since homeroom is about to start" She stated the obvious. "My name is Tsuyu Asui but call me Tsu. What's your name ribbit?"
"Oh I'm Y/n L/n" I said to her with a awkward smile. "Umm if you don't m-mind me asking, does your quirk have something to do with frogs?"
"Actually yes. My frog quirk allows my body to do what frogs can do" She told me. " What about yours ribbit?"
" Oh well-" I was interrupted by the warning bell. "I got to run. I'm sorry!!"
I run towards the school as I left Tsuyu by the entrance. How many clichés are gonna happen today?
"So...you think she's cute huh?" Zwei asked me in my mind.
"W-what makes you think that? I just met her." I told him. I can feel my cheeks warming up again.
"Well one you're stuttering again. Two I can see you blushing." He chuckled as I finally arrived at the teacher lounge. " And third, I heard you think it."
I sighed defeated, knowing full well there's nothing I can say to defend myself. I opened the door and walk to meet my homeroom teacher.
Tsuyu pov:
As I sat at my desk, my mind wanders off and lands on Y/n. I don't know why but he reminds me a bit of Midoriya. He was timid but had a kind of quiet energy. I wonder what class he's going to be in.
" Hey Tsuyu did hear the news?" I snap out of my thoughts as I look up to see Mina smiling at me.
" No what news ribbit? I asked her.
" Well rumor is we're getting a new foreign student" She responded with a smile. "I wonder if they'll be a boy or girl?"
"A new student you say..." My sentence trails off as my mind goes back to Y/n and his cute smile.
My face begins to warm up as soon as I thought that. Why did I think that? It's not like I like him or anything...right? I can feel my face heat up even more.
" Tsuyu are you ok? Your face is turning red" Mina said with concern in her voice.
" I'm fine its nothing" I said in a panic. " Just feeling a bit warm."
Mina gave me a concerned look but before she could say anything, the classroom door opened. She turned around as Mr. Aizawa hopped into class in his sleeping bag. Hopefully today won't bring anymore surprises...
