Chapter 24: Old Scars Open Up

Y/n pov

I yawned as the warmth of the sun touch my skin. One of the perks of walking to school. Summer was coming and that meant we were close to having a break. Usually I'd spent alone but this time there was something different than before.

"Morning Y/n ribbit"

I turned my head to see Tsuyu, my girlfriend. I smiled as I stopped as she stopped beside me.

"Morning Tsuyu" I replied.

We began to walk to the school again as we chatted. After what had happened between Illsmouth and us, we were allowed to return home to recover. After that difficult experience, I was actually looked forward to school. I turn to steal a glance at Tsuyu but I notice that she fidgeting.

"Tsuyu is everything ok?" I asked her with a concerned tone.

"Oh it's nothing. I just wanted to ask something but it silly" She tells me.

"You can tell me Tsu" I say to her.

"Really it's nothing" She protested.

"Please Froppy? For me?"

I watch as she blushes as I call her by her hero name. She fidgets a bit more before taking a deep breath.

"I was just wondering if we can hold hands" She says as stops.

I stop and blush as I began to gently scratch my cheek. I know back in America, this is a common thing to see in public. But here it's somewhat looked down upon here in Japan. Well it's not like I cared what others said about me back there so why should it bother me now? I gently grab Tsuyu's hand and place my fingers between hers. She looks up at me as I give her a gentle smile. She blushes some more as we began to walk again.

After a while we stood in front of door to our class. We could hear voices coming from the other side. We were both a bit nervous but we both took a look at each other and nodded. After what we went through, this is like a walk in the park.

I gently pushed the door and walked inside. As soon as we did, I notice that everyone in the class turned there head at us. Though a few reactions caught my attention. Izuku and Ochako were shocked to see us holding hands. Fumikage glared at me but kept his composure. Mina was overjoyed as she ran and started to bombard Tsuyu with questions. She gave me a look that begged for some help but when it came to Mina, there wasn't much for either of could do. All I could do was give her a apologetic smile as I walked to my desk.

"Wow top ten anime betrayals" Zwei said. "Way to leave her on her own partner."

"Easy Zwei. It's not like there's anything I could do to stop her" I tell him.

Before Zwei could respond, I felt something tug on my school jacket. I turn my head to see Mineta with dark expression on his face.

"Y/n, you were holding hands with Tsuyu..." He said as he trembled. "You guys are dating now aren't you...?"

Before I could respond, I felt something wet touch my cheek. Mineta and I turned my head to see that Tsuyu had use her tongue to touch my cheek...wait does this count as a kiss?!

"Does that answer your question?" Tsuyu asked as she went back to talking to Mina. Izuku and Ochako looked like they were about to burst from how red their face were.

"Y/n you traitor! How can you not only be the first one in class to get in a relationship but now you have to show off!" Mineta yelled as he went berserk.

I manage to grab him and I threw him the front of the class. He slams into the wall as he mumbles to himself. I sigh as I turn around to see more threats. Denki and Rikido had a murderous come off them as they glared at me. Denki and his electricity could be a problem. As for Rikido, even though he get stronger from the sugar he eats, he also loses some sense when he does so maybe I could take him on.
