Chapter 18: Hero names

Y/n pov

I yawn as I slowly made my way to school. Unfortunately for me, I didn't get much sleep since I was thinking of what Tsuyu did yesterday. I stop outside a shop as I placed a hand on my cheek where Tsuyu placed a kiss.

"She really has now doesn't she partner?" Zwei asked me. I try to hide it but a small grin forced itself on my face.

"Yeah she sure does" I tell him honestly.

I was about to continue my way to school when something interesting caught my ear.

"And other news, the anti-mutant group, Nox has once again strike. This time they killed a crew of fishermen off the coast of Okinawa. Authorities had no comment to make but assure us that they are doing everything in their power to stop Nox."

After listening to that, I continued my way to UA. I never understood why some people hated mutants. It's not their fault their quirks changed their appearance. Still didn't make them less human. I shook my head in disgust as I put that thought in the back of my head.

[Small Timeskip as Zwei naps in the sunlight as Satsuki naps beside him.]

I finally arrive at school gates as I take a deep breath. I walk among all the students as till heard a voice that sent shivers down my spine.

"Hey Y/n wait up!!"

I turned around to see a certain curly hair girl with pink skin run towards me. I couldn't help but smirk as she weaved herself through the crowd. She finally managed to get to me as she put on her famous smile.

"Hey there Mina, needed something?" I asked her.

"Well now that you mentioned it, there is actually" Mina purred slyly.

We began to walk towards the classroom as she looked for something on her phone. When it came to Mina, nothing good will come from this. At least not for me.

"Ah I finally found it!" Mina exclaimed happily. "Care to explain this?"

"Explain wha-" I began to say but my blood suddenly went cold. On Mina's phone was a picture but not any picture. It was a picture of Tsuyu and me...when Tsuyu kissed me yesterday!

I stared at the phone in disbelief. How is it this girl always manages to snap a picture of Tsuyu and me without us knowing she's there. I glare at Mina as she smiles mischievously at me, almost taunting me as if she knew I would never manage to take her phone and delete that picture. I sigh as I give up without trying.

"There's nothing to say that concerns you" I tell her as I walk towards the classroom.

"Aww you know, your kinda cute when you try to act tough" Mina teased me.

"Tch" I clicked my tongue at her as I feel my face heat up a bit.

Mina followed me, humming happily, as we finally arrived at the classroom door. I open the door and walked inside. I looked around to see some of the students had already arrived. I looked towards the back corner of the room where Tsuyu was talking to Toru and Jiro. Tsuyu made eye contact but immediately looked down in a attempt to hide her blush.

I slowly made my way to my desk and sat down. I buried my face in my arms as I try to hide my own blush. I try to ignore the whispers as I waited for class to start. After what felt like eternity, Mr. Aizawa finally entered the classroom in his usual tired personality.

"All right settle down everyone" Aizawa said in a monotone voice. "There's something important we all must do."

I hear the class gulp as we prepare to hear what Mr. Aizawa had to say. We all slowly leaned in so we could hear him as we gave him our full attention.
