He seems almost clueless when he looks me in the eye,
And when I smile at him as if there's no tomorrow.
I try to show him how I feel... I do really try,
But whenever I see his face, time begins to slow.
He's that boy I always think about,
Even when it's late at night.
My confession, sometimes I want to shout!
But for now he's just the inspiration for these poems I write.
From the way he acts and what he might do,
And how we laugh about the smallest of things.
Sometimes I wonder if he'd have feelings too...
But I also wonder if it's only my mind pulling strings.
But whatever happens, he's still that boy.
And I don't want to ruin anything, so for now his company I'll simply enjoy.
