(Davids POV)
Liza stopped at the word and collapsed into my arms.
"My baby." She sobs into my arms and I pull her closer to me, my black shirt getting wet from her tears soaking through. Her hands grasp the sides of my 'introvert' shirt.
"Shhh." Is what I say, holding her closer if that was humanly possible. We stay there, and Ari joins us,her makeup streaming down her face. It reminds me of the times when she'd come running in the house because she had fallen off her training bike, she was about four or five, and she ran past Liza and jumped into my arms because we played castle a lot and I was he knight.
And knights protect princesses.
But I couldn't protect my other princess today.
