"Sweetheart come on,We have to get you to the airport."My mom gently shook me awake.Was it wrong to say I wanted to punch My mom because at the moment I really did.That and sleep some more.I didn't want to be awake write now.Why was this woman bent on destroying my life.First she is sending me away and now she wakes me up at ridiculous times.
"Noooo...What time is it anyways."I grumbled combing through my dark brown hair the probably looked like a hay stack at the moment.My dark blue eye glaring at Caroline Torrence my wonderful mother who likes to wake me up at...
"5:30 your plan leaves at 7:00."She smiled as she seen my eyes widen as she said the time.
"Your killing me mom,really truly killing me."I whined standing up with heavy eye lids.
"Oh Ember Rose Torrence stop with the dramatics go take a quick shower.Joanna and Dan should be here soon."
Great I silently groaned I had nothing against Dan except two things so I guess I did have something against.Number One would be he married my mother and new nothing about her the only thing he new was that he was 25 years his senior and his ex-wife had left him for a younger guy so a great way to get pay back marry a younger woman.Mom only married him for his paycheck I think anyways.I mean come on why else would my beautiful model material marry an old gross guy.Eww it was practically necrophilia.Dan was about to be sixty and my mom was only 34.She had me at the young age of 18 making me 16.
So yes my guess at the reason they got married is because my mother is a gold digger.Simple as that.And the second thing I have against Dan besides the whole married to a corpse thing.Was that he brought Joanna into my life.She was just a ray of sunshine.Not.She was more like the pain of natural child birth and having to pop out like 7 kids.She was horrible.Vain,bitchy,a slut,cruel,nasty,and a fake tan barbie doll.Words that describe her.
She likes to cause me pain.Pure evil thats hat that girl is.
"Ember stop day dreaming and go shower."
"Right sorry mom going."I grabbed the clothes I left out on purpose yesterday for this wonderful occasion.A pair of simple light green sweat pants,matching tank,and some good old chucks.and headed towards the bathroom that was attached to my bedroom.
I cleaned my body with some rose and vanilla body wash and scrubbed my hair with some rose shampoo and conditioner.I relaxed letting the water rush over me.And forgetting the drama that was waiting for me outside the bathroom door.
But all to soon I had to get out.Wrapping the fluffy blue towel around my thin body I climbed out,dried myself and the followed by my hair which i lazily through up into a messy bun piled on top of my head.Slipping on my outfit I left the room.
I let out a quick scream when I seen the devil herself on my bed.Joanna smirked at me.
"Are you keen on blue and silver because I am thinking I should paint it pink and purple."Joanna said her voice squeaky as I remembered it if not a little more.
I was confused."What are you talking about?"
"Well this room walls color.This is my room once you leave.Oh oops your mom didn't tell you."She giggled innocently.
"I thought you were going to stay in the guest room?"
"Oh yeah I was but then I seen your room and it is so much bigger and the closet space is better and you have a bathroom attached to yours not just down the hall like the quest bathroom."
I screamed.Joanna and her stupid father were taking over my life.
Dan and My mom ran into the room.
"Whats wrong."They both said obviously hearing my scream.
"Your giving my room away."I glared my mom.
"Well honey,Joanna made a few good points and it is only fair because you are going away."Because you making me I wanted to yell but I kept my cool.
"And where am I supposed to stay when I come home for vacations?"I glared.
"The quest bedroom."My mom stated simply.Then changed the subject "Are you ready to go sweetheart we have to leave if we ever want to make it on time."
I nodded grabbing some of my stuff and leaving them behind.
I heard my mom ask"Danny-Gag- can you help me bring the rest of Ember's things down to the car."
I hated this so much.I hated how it was always just me and Mom and now I was being replaced by Barbie Bitch and her old as dirt father.My mother used to be my best friend and now I hardly no her.We used to have a Rory and Lorelei relationship now we have a Lorelei and Emily relationship (Sorry for the gilmore girl reference.I just didn't no how else to put it.)I hate how I used to be able to go to her and tell her anything but now I have to watch what I say around her because I don't want to offend her new perfect Life.One that I clearly have no place in.
So hear we (Me and My mother)stood at the gates at the airport.My flight was just called and we were saying are slightly awkward goodbyes.
"So yes,Have fun sweetheart makes friends.I love you."She placed a tiny kiss to my forehead and gave me a small squeeze.
"Yeah Bye Mom,Love ya too."
"Last call for flight 4 to California,San Fransisco.Last call."
"Well thats me.Bye."I gave her a small wave before turning and heading through the gates.And leaving My mother behind.along with my old life.Good Bye New york.Hello California.
