This Is Our Forever

Chapter 2

We arrive to the big event field at 10am. Maddie is clearly not pumped for this anymore if you could see her face and how tired she is.

''Let's find something to eat'' I say and grab her arm. I aim for the tents with big signs that says 'burgers' and 'thai wok'. There is already people gathered around them.

''America or Thailand?''

Maddie sighs ''whatever''

''Oh Maddie come oooooon you love this! Now pick what you really want please!''

Maddie straightens herself and answers ''okay, okay... Thai it is!''

We both smile a bit and gets in the line for the right tent.

''Did you know that Thai food is extremely healthy if you make it properly, there is a lot of vegetables and protein from both egg and chicken. There's egg in there did you know?'' Maddie says a little distant in my ear.

I roll my eyes.

''There you are Maddie'' I sigh

''I was not finished'' she says and continues with the important lesson in Thai food.

When we both have our little boxes of food we walk to the stage area to find good spots. The sun is shining and spreads a beautiful yellow shimmer light over everything. I feel so lightened and free here.

There was still plenty of room almost at the stage so we went there.

''Look! Sound check now!'' Maddie smiles.

At least we get some entertainment while waiting for the real performances. Pet shop boys, Skrillex, Pharrell Williams, Foster the people all enter the stage one by one and try some tracks before it is time for the first performances. And how we danced! People everywhere now and you could barley move but everyone danced so much that was possible.

After a few hours we move out of the crowd to breath out and laugh it off.

''That. Was. AMAZING!'' I say

''Yes! Oh my god! We need to get back for some more! Is there anymore artist I might know about?''

''Uhm, let's see'' I grab the brochure and read ''MGMT, Lorde, Kid Cudi, Capital Cities... Oh My! If we stay til 1 at night we will see U2''

''Let's go back!'' Maddie screams in my face.

''No wait let's just chill, we need to drink or else we will not make it to 1''

Finding a place to fill our water bottles should not be hard but about 15 minutes later we find one.

''Waste of time'' Maddie mumbles and fills her bottle.

I glance at her and fills mine.

We head to the stage when I hear someone call my name from behind. Something inside of me hopes that it is someone I know but it was just a fan that wanted an autograph and photo. When she shouted my name more people turned their eyes on me.

''OMG Victoria Justice!'' I hear and just freeze in my spot. A girl runs up to me and hug my torso so hard that I almost loose my breath. Several people walks towards me and I just smile and do what they ask for. When the little crowd around me lightens Maddie catches up with a hot dog in her hand.

''What the?'' I say and point at her giant hot dog. She raises it in the air, smiles and take a bite.

''Hey Vic!'' I hear from behind. This time, the voice of a man. I turn around and gets a surprise hug.
