I usually hate mornings but Arianna and Ella had arranged some plans to go buy formal dresses for us to wear to to the formal party this weekend. I got up from bed and got dressed for the day and headed out to pick up Arianna and Ella to go to "Leanne's Dresses". It took us about half an hour to get to her store but we finally got there and went in.

After a bit of searching for gowns that we liked, we found out that we wanted different colors and styles of dresses. Looking at our choices of dresses and trying them on, we finally came down to one dress that we each liked.

"Even though we didn't have the same style of dresses or same color dress, I think we look the same because of how H-O-T we look together!!" Said by Arianna. We all laughed and bought our dresses and left. On the way home, we agreed to meet up at Ella's place before the party and get ready there.

Although this day was great and all, I still wondered why I was invited to Ashton Grey's Formal Party even though we've never met before. When I arrived at home, Bella was in the kitchen listening to her music while making food and my father was sitting in the dinning room, reading a newspaper. Even though today was a long day, I decided I wanted to go for a run, so I put on my workout outfit and running shoes and headed out the door again. Running was one of my favorite hobbies even though I wasn't very good at running. It made me have time to think to myself without anyone bothering me. I stopped at a local coffee shop and asked if I could have a bottled water and headed out again. While running, I noticed a woman around my age, maybe a little older, with bruises all over her face and had been walking on the streets without any shoes on, so I walked over to her. "Are you okay? Why don't you have any pair of shoes on?" I asked the woman and she said that her boyfriend had punched her multiple times and she had gotten so frightened that she just ran out the door and her boyfriend chased her.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure your safe no matter wh-" but before I could finished the sentence, I heard a man yelling behind me the name "Leah" and turned around to see a man with tattoos on his arms and piercings on his face. I guessed that was her name and made her stand behind me trying to protect her. When her boyfriend got closer, he was still yelling but with more of a reeking smell of alcohol. "Leah, you better be getting me a pack of beers, instead of trying to hang out with your friends!!!" Leah's boyfriend said. "Umm sir please step back and turn around before we report you" I said back to him, but with that all I could see was him getting red and about to punch one of us. I tried to duck it but he punched a part of my arm and face but it wasn't as bad as Leah's bruises looked like. A second later, he tried to punch me again, so I tried to duck it again hopefully actually ducking it, but then I heard a hard yell, like someone was getting their guts ripped out and I looked to see what was happening. When I looked, I had seen a gentleman that looked like the man I bumped into the day before, holding Leah's boyfriend  arms in the most crucial way that I don't think anyone could get out of.
